House GOP may pass Senate's "skinny repeal" outright. CALL YOUR SENATORS.

The only reason I can think that he did this is that he legit believed that the GOP was going to debate the bill, figure out a plan in crunch time, and come out on top as a hero. But doing the lunch planning he saw that NO ONE had a plan and decided to vote against at the last second.

I don’t know the future of Republican efforts to repeal the ACA. What I do know is a lot of chickens came home to roost in this vote. Perhaps in the future it would be best for the president not to say that he prefers his war heroes not to be captured? Perhaps it would be better for the Interior Department not to threaten funding in Alaska? When you only have 52 votes in the Senate, maybe it’s better to treat each senator well. Otherwise, they may just vote against you in a key vote.

McConnell Salty as hell and I enjoy his fake tears
They have no plan. The current bill they made was pure garbage.
Just move on.
Who want to make a bet that Trump is going after McCain again?

So is turtle an idiot who doesn't understand the difference between single payer and the ACA or is he just an evil piece of shit who tries to manipulate his racist base at every turn. I'll go with the latter.

This is the first actual failed vote right? If so, good, they deserve all the fallout, those fucks. Pieces of shit trying to make 40 million uninsured, and increase premiums 20% year on year.

Get fucked republicans.

McCain, Collins, Murkowski, I don't like ya'll all that much, but I can at least respect you for having values, at least tonight.

I'm following 538's live blog and they make a good point, that this probably more beneficial for Republicans overall than if they had actually passed this.

So was it a positive that McCain voted yes earlier this week to get us to this point? And have it all come to this melting point and then vote no.

Like it was quite scary but was this better it went down this way?

Also want to add that this is revenge against Obama, as he personally viewed a black man in a position of power as an affront to his white superiority complex.

As someone who isn't American and is completely ignorant of American politics, how long until you guys are completely in the clear? When are the repubs going to stop trying to repeal Ocare?

I want fucking apologies from the authors of the 200 hot take op-eds shitting on McCain's legacy that were published over the last two days. This was so much more powerful than McCain just not showing up to vote.

Never. We won't be in the clear until the next time the Dems control one house of Congress or the presidency, at least.

That was such a disgusting show. Shame on all of them.

Never. It's their ultimate mission. They might move on but they'll always come back to it. All because it has HIS name on it.

Probably never. This is a nice victory, but it will be short-lived.
