Bring back Thundercats on Adult Swim or somewhere it won't be fucked.

Maybe Netflix? Voltronx's been doing well on it. I started watching Thundercats when it aired, but never finished it when I heard that it already got cancelled :/ A shame that the poor toy sales were what killed it.

King of the Hill Revival Eyed at Fox

The network has had “preliminary conversations” with series creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels about reviving the ‘toon, Fox Chairman and CEO Dana Walden confirmed to reporters Tuesday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. “I would like to explore that [further] with Mike and Greg,” Walden added. “Given what’s going on in the country [under President Trump], I think they have a point of view about how those characters would respond. But it was one meeting. I hope to revisit it.”

Walden was quick to note that both Daniels and Judge “are very busy,” and stressed that the meeting was “a first, exploratory [conversation]…. It’s about finding time [to do it].”

Dominic Monaghan's 100 Code, Two More Foreign Crime Dramas to Air Stateside on WGN America

The cable network has acquired the U.S. TV rights to a trio of foreign crime dramas: 100 Code (Sweden), Shoot the Messenger (Canada) and Pure (Canada).

100 Code stars Dominic Monaghan (Lost, the Lord of the Rings trilogy) as a NYPD detective who heads to Stockholm to track down a serial killer who's targeting young, blonde women with blue eyes. (The late Michael Nyqvist, of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo fame, plays his new Swedish partner.)

Shoot the Messenger stars Elyse Levesque (The Originals, Orphan Black) as a young reporter who witnesses a murder and gets drawn into a government-wide cover-up; the supporting cast includes ER alum Alex Kingston and Haven‘s Lucas Bryant.

Pure centers on a newly elected Mennonite pastor (Arrow‘s Ryan Robbins) who battles a Mexican crime cartel to rid his community of illicit drugs. CSI: NY‘s Alex Buckley and Oscar nominee Rosie Perez (Search Party) co-star.

Fuck you Fox. I know you're creatively bankrupt but how fucking dare you consider reviving King of the Hill before your number one cult show which unfairly, and cruelly got cancelled after one season. What incompetent, coked up clown decided to go with a mediocre animated show over your glorious sci-fi western.

Give me more of The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. or give me death!

Hey, season 3 and finally Mary Tyler Moore is addressing why women make less than men.

Sad that you could still do this episode today and it'd still be relevant.

It'll be interesting to see if Channel 4 and AMC's 'Loaded' will make it to a second season. It got pretty bad ratings in the UK and it's averaging around 220K viewers per episode in the US so far. It being a co-production helps things, but I don't know if that'll be enough to save it.

what happened to Michael C. Hall anyway? Has he been in B movies or something since Dexter?

Please stop. I couldn't even finish the reboot series. Revive Sarah Connor Chronicles so us 10 fans can watch it again.

#3 reporting for duty! I'm doing my part!

Honestly they should reboot Space: Above and Beyond since it's an interesting concept (and with modern writing tools much easier to keep consistent), and gives them a "fuck Starship Troopers" show. But then Fox isn't known for looking ahead.

Speaking of which:

Almost Human. Why is it that Fox has this ability to make shows that would be killer on other networks and then go 'nah' before it's even build momentum?

Pretty sure he returned to doing theater. I remember he jumped into Hedwig as soon as Dexter ended.

He could get a new TV series if he really wanted one. Movies, nah.

Only decent live action Terminator thing after Judgement Day. That fucking cliffhanger...

Oh and I LOL'd when I saw Genysysysysysysys "borrowed" something that show did.

They're making a third season of Wayward Pines?

S2 was literally the worst season of a primetime network show I have ever watched.
it was so bad it blew through the " so bad its good" category and landed nicely in "worst thing ever made" tier.

Every 5 minutes felt like
"oh you liked the show last season?"
"fuck you"
"haha you liked this last season"
"fuck you again"

For an entire season.

I enjoyed the first few episodes of the first season but it got so bad by the end I didn't bother with season 2. Kinda glad I didn't, I watched all the seasons of Under the Dome and didn't need another one of those type of shows.

Showtime's Purity won't begin production until after Bond 25, so it's highly unlikely it'll premiere before 2019.
Hmm, I suppose that's fine. I read the novel yesterday and more time to evenly spread the material across 2 seasons is good. If it were me, I would have done an 8-10 episode miniseries because I can't see a point in the novel where it might be split into two.

wait, what? You can already watch that stuff on demand as far as I'm aware. And here you have to still be a cable customer, AND pay on top of it? FAIL.
Watch them pull the back catalog from on demand and put it here.

FX On Demand has every single episode of the Simpsons, I suspect this will be moved to this pay tier.

I am trying hard to think of stuff that is worth watching on FX, let a lone pay for.

The League is over

Always Sunny is only 6 weeks out of the year

Atlanta is on hiatus

Archer is wrapping up

I canceled netflix for the first time in like, a decade? I'm going to start rotating services; 1 month with vrv, then hulu, then netflix, etc. Kind of a pain but I don't think its worth subbing to these services for 12 months a year these days as the libraries get spread thinner (and I don't have the time to use them all).

King of the Hill had a good run. Now the Critic, there is a show cut down before its time!

Yeah, I loved season 1 but season 2 made me retroactively hate the show in how it sought to undo everything that season 1 did. Absolutely despised season 2.

I keep forgetting FXX is a thing, and always think it is just one network

So do I. Still not sure what caused the split and only thought of it when looking at the list you posted. I think Always Sunny is on FXX as well but I'm sure FXX stuff would be on their app as well.

Come to think of it, I think Atlanta is the only reason my TV ends up on FX

I am dating myself but I remember when FX launched and it promised like 12 hours of live content a day. But people only watched it for the reruns of Greatest America Hero

'Snowfall' Renewed For Season 2 By FX
Five episodes into its freshman run, drama Snowfall has received an early Season 2 renewal by FX. The announcement comes ahead of the network’s TCA presentation today and the show’s sixth episode airing tonight. The second season of the series, about the start of the crack epidemic in Los Angeles, is slated for 2018

Does it improve after the second episode?

Had no idea they aimed for that much live content. Does/did anyone ever have that much that isn't a news station?
