Really, how come? Their website has some bullshit ass shit on it, but their HBO output is pretty good. My feeling is that the vice news section and the other entertainment are totally separate entities.
I saw it every time something like this happens I walk away with a feeling of dread that there's some many layers to this bullshit. We don't even really know.
In fact I think one of those guys can be quoted saying as much.

Vice is super uneven with their content, they have some spectacular work out there; some great documentaries and interviews, but a decent chunk of their content is dull ass white people traveling and churning out some real vapid shit. It's the Buzzfeed issue of having to learn what to navigate around.
When their channel launched half it was about weed
I can't wait to buy this for 25 bucks in two to three months. I don't wish this on any game, but damn this looks like it's going to hang with Prey as another bomb.
It's infuriating to watch. It shows racist folks who are quite hateful, desperate, and somewhat organized, ready to cause conflict. The shit that they say just lets you know they're more than a meme, they're trying to become a movement. They're calling it a win that a protester against them died, and... yeah. It frustrates me.
