Nearly the entire quisling "conservative" media immediately caved to the B.S. left-wing media narrative on Charlottesville. NOT TRUMP!

Going out and picking a fight is bad.

Reciprocal force in self defense? Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

How would that work?

If one side lets say a group of Neo-nazis decides to attack a group of counter protesters with clubs it is a street fight and pretty much anyone on both sides is open game regardless if they want to partaking in the fighting or not. If one of the protesters( Neo-Nazis or not) don't want to fight, is okay then if he/she is beaten?

I don't believe it is simple, when comes to situations in like that. At one point some one is going to pull out guns and kill many people regardless in the people among the dead are innocent, wanted to demonstrate peacefully, or not.

I'm actually somewhat interested in a Hope Hicks tell-all book. She's basically the silent force in this white supremacy parade and she's likely an aggressive racist herself. It's insane she's yet to do a single publicized interview (?) yet.

She seems like she's secretly a demon.

I'm trying to imagine what the reaction would be if Trump's approval numbers actually ticks up after this and....I can't even do it. It's too crazy to even think about it.

He had already a 2% drop just after the weekend. Any chance of him ever getting a recovery is pretty much killed going forward. Now he's cemented his appeal among les déplorablés and nothing beyond that.

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
Of course Trump hired a Hick for the White House.

I'm guessing that Hicks will take a more traditional backstage role as comms director as opposed to The Mooch who seemingly wanted to be all over TV?

I suppose we're way past the point where a Hope Hicks - Trump affair being exposed would even move the needle.

don't you have some Math Dude's sure fire theorem to post saying Democrats will lose 87 seats in 2018
Dude are you serious? You're still upset about that? You don't have other things to be concerned about in your life??

I'm not going to post according to your standards you freaking weirdo.

Edit: I've literally been on neogaf since day 1 and this is hands down the weirdest interaction I've ever had.

Edit2: How the hell do you have 10,000 posts in one year?!

Edit3: Add me to your ignore list please.

Bummed that #NazisWithAPermit didn't catch on more yesterday. We needed humor. Patton Oswalt was perfect with this. #ImpeachTrump has been the #1 trend in the US for 12 hours now, and was #1 worldwide for 8. This is a huge disaster, but as others have noted Trump didn't actually reveal anything new about himself yesterday. That's all stuff he's said before in one form or another, but never that condensed or pointed. Any "new" people this angers or turn away from him after this were merely people who weren't paying enough attention before. The "this is who he really is" finally seems to be settling in.

Imagine coming in here only to be a dick to literally the only good poster in this thread

"I don't even care" he said after 3 edits over a 20 minute period

Are you at all surprised?

I'm actually somewhat interested in a Hope Hicks tell-all book. She's basically the silent force in this white supremacy parade and she's likely an aggressive racist herself. It's insane she's yet to do a single publicized interview (?) yet.

She seems like she's secretly a demon.

This is the closest thing to an interview with Hope Hicks I've ever seen.

I'm guessing that Hicks will take a more traditional backstage role as comms director as opposed to The Mooch who seemingly wanted to be all over TV?

They talked about this on one of the Pod Saves episodes. Comms Directors aren't traditionally in the public eye a whole lot. The Mooch for some reason thought he was basically the Press Secretary, which is unusual.

I have been waiting for Hope Hicks to end up as the Press Secretary or Comms Director. She has just been lurking in the shadows at the White House since day one, and was basically a ghost during the campaign who would pop up every so often. Of course she ended up close to Trump, he's basically distilled chauvinism, so I'm amazed there aren't 10-12 women Hicks age/attractiveness in his inner circle >.>

I thought Kelly wanted to avoid "bad quality" information reaching the 45? Mission accomplished.

Get ready to sue Pigeon

Fuck you Ann "quisling" is MY word
Yup

I hate to tell you this but the two of you are the only people I've ever seen use it regularly. And I heard it from her first :(
Pigeon was calling Ryan and others quislings since September of last year.

Whats worse, having 63 million people vote for a Nazi, or having 100+ million people who dont care enough to do anything about it?

Most Americans pay zero attention to politics or even the news and only tune in once every four years to pick a president. They have been conditioned not to talk about politics, not to care about politics, and interpret everything everybody says as being hyperbolic and reactionary.

I don't even begin to know how to fix this problem. I actually remember a commercial when I was a little kid that played on Nickelodeon during election season that always made me want to vote when I got older. But when I turned 18, I didn't, because voting was confusing and inconvenient.

What actually made me vote for the first time was how much I hated our governor in the 2014 midterms. I didn't even know who the people on the ballot were and just voted for Democrats and Independents at random.

I didn't get properly and enthusiastically activated until 2016. I did it because the prospect of a fascist Nazi president was the scariest thing in the world to me and I wanted to be part of history and elect the first female president.

But hardly anyone else I talked to in-person felt that way. Everyone else was "over it" and just wanted it to be over because they hated them both and politics don't matter.

As I have been many times before, it made me ashamed of my fellow Americans. But I was no different not that long ago. The things that motivated me, apparently, were not enough for everyone else.

Look I know it's Ann Coulter. She says stupid, inflammatory shit.

Then again, I have family who grew up in Norway under nazi occupation. I fucking hope you choke on something and die.

If you hate Trump and are happily married to someone who supports him, talk about something other than politics.

I mean, yeah, it's maybe a joke... But not really. Why leave someone in ignorance, if they don't know any better. And if they do know better, why are you with someone who supports Neo-Nazis... Unless, of course, you're a married Neo-Nazi couple. It just feeds the status quo that people shouldn't care about politics.

Edit: Tweet was in response to this article: If You Are Married to a Trump Supporter, Divorce Them. And my point still stands.

He does realize he can actually do something about Amazon, right? He can propose legislation, look into if they're a monopoly, see if they break any laws, make sure they're paying proper taxes, stuff like that.

Attacking Amazon seems pointless. People love Amazon.

I don't know how anybody can be in a relationship with a Trump supporter if they are not one themselves. It makes me wonder how many couples got married and families were started without the parents even really knowing who they really were.

Like, before 2016, I could see a liberal and a conservative being together. Especially because there are so many "socially liberal, economic conservatives" out there. A couple can disagree over how much money should go into social services or how big the military should be and probably still be happy together.

But this is different. You are either a fascist sympathizer or you are not.

And if you married a fascist sympathizer without knowing it, I feel really, really sorry for you. There is nothing more tragic I can imagine than that as a consequence of our "don't talk about politics" construct.

I remember, in high school, my first girlfriend and I were talking and then she stopped suddenly and said "wait, you don't have problems with gay people, right?" I said of course not. She said "thank God, I would have left you immediately." And I always admired her for that because we were young and didn't know a lot about each other yet, she knew the kind of person she wanted to be with even at 16.

Can you imagine not knowing that kind of stuff about your spouse?

So are you all cool (minus kirblar) with the radical left now or is this just a temporary WWII alliance kind of thing
Shouldn't this question be posed to the "radical left" instead of us?

That is, if they are cool with the 'liberals' they despise so much, in the face of the real enemy?
