I recently played against an awesome Tekken player in the UAE and added him afterwards. Turned out we were part of the same group of Tekken players on WhatsApp.

It's pretty good.
That input lag situation is still shitty, but other than that, the netcode is pretty damn consistent for me.
I just wish they gave a different message for when an opponent declines a match rather than the classic "connection with the opponent was lost" notification. I want to savour the salt when someone starts to dodge me.

I believe all cinematic supers ignore armor in SFV. And since Gief's parry is technically an armor move, he gets hit.
There may be exceptions. Projectile supers can be armored. Maybe CAs that don't go into the cinematic on the first hit? (Karin, FANG)
