CNN Poll:6 out of 10 Trump voters will "never, ever" stop approving of Trump

Most people who are on the Trump train say they are definitely, absolutely never getting off -- no matter what.

Six in 10 people who approve of President Donald Trump (61%) say they can't think of anything Trump could do that would make them disapprove of his job as President, according to a Monmouth University poll released this week.

So who are the most hardcore groups of Trump backers? Women who approve of Trump are most likely to say they will never change their minds: 72% of female Trump approvers say they will never strip their support, vs. only 54% of male Trump approvers.
Also, 68% of approvers over 55 years old say they won't stop supporting Trump, along with 67% of approvers who have a high school degree or less and 67% of approvers who make under $50,000 per year.

Thats close to 40 million religiously devoted supporters of President Trump, many of whom are volatile, highly combustible extremists.
Trump is at his most dangerous while he's in the White House, but his cult following will give him an enormous capacity to stir up trouble and discord long after he's left office.
He will be a destabilising, toxic influence in American politics and culture for decades to come.

How do women even like this guy he treats women like shit.
I live in Los Angeles.

Allow me to tell you what I've had women tell me.

"He has the right idea. Most women don't know what's best for them. A woman's place is in the kitchen? I mean, were those times that bad?"

In liberal Southern California.

I'd almost respect the amount of loyalty on display. Too bad it's to a guy not worth putting your trust in. Imagine if this faith was placed in, y'know, good people.

I'm guessing the no matter what is because he's Republican? What if he switched to independant/democratic (I know can't/won't happen).

It's amazing to see so many utterly braindead people.

Yall really shouldn't be too shocked.

Its similar to how the GOP continues to have their support.

He has a R next to his name and a lot of people love his rhetoric. He's right. He could probably shoot someone and his hardcore base wouldn't budge.

I'm surprised the number is that low. If these translate to votes, Trump could be in trouble if he makes it to 2020 considering how close he won in some states. But of course, there's a difference of not approving of him and not voting for him.

At this point it's time the Democrats cut thier loses and just focus on their own base. The other side will never, ever vote for you. Dem base outnumber them too.

60% of 25%

So the lowest he can go is 15%, did I do that math correctly?

I'm so glad idiots are willing to identify themselves. A city dweller, elitist, billionaire* really represents these people.

Some will say this, but reality is different than hypothetical. If the economy is crashing or we're all somehow about to die due to his incompetence, things change.

You take this poll for George Bush in 2001 and you'd see something similar. But after Katrina, and Iraq, and the financial crisis people changed their tune. The bare minimum is somewhere around 20-25% and he's not that far off today.

When you consider that about one-third of the country (30%-35%) will stick with Trump no matter what, then these numbers aren't surprising. Coincidentally, 30%-35% seems to be where his approval ratings are currently polling at.

He didn't do anything to ME. That's as literally as far as they think, themselves. Still, you can't win re-election with 6/10 voters. He shouldn't have been able to win in the first place, but we got too many fence sitters in America as it is.

He could lose another 10% but it would take time and a lot of undeniable failure.

The women thing makes sense.

He has far less women support then men, so to reach that higher percentage he actually needs less women to love him then he'd need men for them to reach that same percentage.

Furthermore women who love him are inherently likely to be true believers because of how fucked his views on women are. Thus yeah those women who do love him probably have a higher to infinite threshold in terms of his behavior because they've already overlooked everything that would affect them directly just to buy in in the first place.

Tell a woman for decades how little she matters compared to how a man views her, and they'll believe it.

Kind of crazy that this means that even if he declared WWIII on North Korea, and instituted a draft, there would STILL be a big chunk of people cheering "YEAH!" and happily going off to get fitted for their combat fatigues and issued their rifle.

Trumpers are fanatical true believers. Being a Trumpfuck has become an essential part of their identity.
