Totally curious about the total number of maps that they plan to include before release.

This is like... what I wish we got out of PSO2 a the time (obviously tech wasn't nearly as good then) but would be cool to see Sega give that universe the same kind of budget (even if it's a different style of game).

Anyone know if the armor sets shown, if it was just for the area or if that's for the entire game or?

Shifting to next-gen was the best move for the series. Way more detail, animations, A.I etc. Just perfect for some Monster Hunting. Looking forward to hearing about their DLC plans etc. WORLD will probably be my main game next year, especially when they talk 1X support.

As someone who only plays the console monster hunters this is pretty exciting. I missed out on all the 3ds versions so MHXX coming out on switch is really exciting and I'm having a blast with the demo. Now I'll get to enjoy MHXX all the way until this drops for PC. I absolutely cannot wait. I've been craving a hard grind game ever since I dropped like 600+ hours on MH3U.

Looks awesome. I only play the portable ones but it's a good thing for the series as a whole to move the series engine forward to something that looks so, so good. I'm reallyglad loads more people will get to play it even if I have to wait a few years, ultimately a strong franchise means more games for everyone. I'm a patient Hunter.
