When I think of Aston, I think of timeless car designs and the Vanquish absolutely nails that. This design will still look fantastic in 50 years.

Yea that and the DB11 are recent cars that come to mind that look really nice.

But they pale in comparison (imo) to the classic 300SL and DB5

I should be heading to Monterey tomorrow so I hope I catch a 300sl. Jonny from Motortrend took a picture of one on the highway so I hope I get as lucky. Lol.

I really love the Golf 2. The Golfs in generell are very good car. I had a Golf IV and V Plus. Would buy again. I hope that VW will produce a good eGolf in the near future.
An eGolf in Golf 2 Design would be so fucking awesome.

Yeah, this is peak modern Aston, when they really nailed that iconic look. Many models have deviated or had refreshes and face lifts, but the pictured one is really their crowning achievement IMO.

The Audi A8 is a car I really like because its rather simple, but not in a boring way. It's featured a lot as a car that gets blown up in movies. It's the secret agents protecting the president type car. It feels mysterious and anonymous, but also sleek and sophisticated, but also not too balla.

It has a lot of good attributions I'd look for in a car if money was no object.


I'm not a car guy and don't know anything about cars. Basically this is all I have to contribute with. dang.

Great choice. I have an A4. If I had unlimited funds, I'd have an A8 or maybe an S8, but honestly not sure I need or want all that power (and noise) in a car better suited to prowling South Beach and Vegas strips menacingly.

Yeah, I dunno boss, how about a CR-X with LEDs on the bottom and a muffler that doesn't work so you can show off to everyone even if they CAN'T see you?

Aston Martin can't do that!

I'm not even that much into Porsches, but I can appreciate this one. For a car you're only going to drive once in a while, I would rather look at this in my driveway every day than any of the new stuff.
