This probably just sold me on the game. I'd love a full-fledged Rogue Squadron game on current consoles.

The Unknown Regions
Endor - Death Star Debris
Fondor - Imperial Shipyard
Ryloth
Kamino

Starfighter Assault maps revealed in the trailer.

Fighter Squadron in the last game was my favorite part by far. It's very exciting to see this being expanded in a big way, but I can't help but worry about balance once you keep adding more and more.

I'd be in the dick
Kamino looks absolutely insane. Love DICE trailers

I hope I'll be able to actually play the space battle modes in this one. I'm usually awful with flying vehicles so I liked the controls of the first game and I know this one is more traditional, which is what most people asked for.

Definitely getting this game for the One X. I was on the fence for the first one (content concerns), but this one has enough to push me over. Great trailer.

DICE better not fuck up the balance and then take six months to patch it like they usually do.

Battlefront 1 maps were awful.

Was getting caught part of your plan?
That's Kylo's The Last Jedi Tie fighter at the end of the Unknown Regions segment, right?

Yes.

Looks smokin'.

Amazon still doesn't have disc based regular version up for preorder. I want to get into that beta on PS4....

So any guesses if this will be an 'on rails' style of gameplay or freely roaming?

Either way it looks amazing.

Were there female Republic pilots in that trailer? Were there any female clones at that time?

You've already got characters dicking around in timelines where they shouldn't be in, in battles which never even happened.

Canonical immersion is out the window (bcuz vidja gamez).

What? Why would that be the case?

Preordered on PC, may also get on PS4 depending on how good the Pro version is, because this looks like it would look incredible on an OLED

Well if there's a multiplayer aspect to it, which I assume there is, I know it wouldn't be on rails. But for solo play, I could see it being the case. After all the major space combat in SWTOR was on rails until they finally added the additional space combat far later into the game.

I assume it would be like the first game but better?

Yes, this was gameplay. Yes, you also doubted Battlefield 3, 4, One, and Battlefront would look as good as the trailers.

BF1 didn't look nearly as good as the "in engine" trailers, like at all.

Batllefront did look incredible and close enough I would say, it's looking much better than BF1 as well.

No, I don't think I did actually

Actual gameplay I would like to see, the space battle DLC in the first game was fun, so if this is even more fun, happy days :)

I dug the first game's Starfighter Assault because it was the only multiplayer-focused mode of the game that I wasn't complete ass at.

So yes, most definitely looking forward to this.

Looks amazing as usual but man, I felt burned on Battlefront 1. Once the luster of the fact that I was playing a really pretty looking and sounding Star Wars game wore off, I just bounced off of the game really fast. Definitely going to wait and see before I even think about buying this one.

Amazing. Already loved the space battles in the first game. They could use a bit more varity, but I hope they keep the arcadey gameplay.
