Guys who preordered from eb games.. does you receipt say day one edition or Scorpio edition?

I hope there isn't a difference as mine says day one edition

If you already placed an order, you can go to your order in your order history and click on the button to make a change to your order and switch it from shipping to in store pick up. There's no need to cancel and reorder.

Whoops, I doubled my sales tax.

Oh well. I mainly want an "on deck" option b/c I don't trust the Microsoft Store. If MS doesn't ship in a timely fashion, I can just go pick up the Best Buy unit. Otherwise I'll just not pick it up and someone else will benefit.

I have the XBOX ONE S 1Tb currently..already pre ordered the XBOX ONE X was going to trade it in says currently its worth 125 would I get the 200 or no..otherwise no point in even going right now will just go in a few months and get the 125

I don't get why it's a joke. Please explain. The One S regularly goes for $200 to $250. GameStop still needs a mark up to sell it. When you can get it new for not much more that doesn't leave much margin for a mark up. If someone paid close to $200 and gets $150 for it, that's pretty good and not a joke.

I was the idiot that bought the day one edition at Gamestop and it was the ultra omega bundle that cost.......god I hate to admit this

Over a grand

It came wth every launch game besides lococycle, an extra controller, charge packs, a year of love and a few other things.

I bought it because I couldn't find an Xbox one near me......I didn't pre order lol. Low and behold they had systems on shelves that were day one restocked weeks later and I was played like a fool.

Even tho cd3 isnt a launch title i still preordered through gamestop.com the no money down till it ships is just to good to pass up. Got the project Scorpio ed btw

A joke would be $400 for the new 1TB Minecraft S. I'm a sucker for the occasional special edition, but damn.

So, this is the first Xbox I hadn't played too much attention to. I went ahead and preordered anyways because I love the PS2esque look, sexy packaging, and the power upgrade. That said... what exactly does this thing compare to when looking at PC? I only ask because I am/have been slowly putting one together.

Is Microsoft.com's version release day shipping? I noticed it just says Free Standard Shipping when I order but didn't give me an option either. Doesn't say anything as far as I can see and Ctrl+F on the page.

Quick question: got my order in at Gamestop.com, used $500+ credit that was on a trade in/gift card.

Seems like the funds from the card haven't been depleted. Will they only be depleted when the console ships?

Wait, switching your shipped order from BB to in store pick up doubled your sales tax? Heh I've never heard that before. One thing to keep in mind, on top of it probably being better handled at a store compared to tossed around by UPS/FedEx/USPS and the sorting center, Best Buy is offering pick up at 9pm PST/12am EST on Monday so you could get it sooner. Still crazy that it changes the tax that much for you unless I misunderstood.

According to the customer support rep I spoke to, the funds won't be removed until it ships.

It has the customized special effects when you insert a disk and such. Maybe some other stuff, but it's not just the shell. Plus there is an extra pig controller you can get for player 2.

Regarding the tax, it's possible they might have updated later but they were only charging me state sales tax on the shipping order. The store is a couple cities away due to how stupid the St. Louis metro area is, so it's relatively high city tax, plus county and state layered. Go government!

Marty's right. It's only a joke for early adopters who paid full price for their Xbox One. Retailers discount the XBO so heavily and often that the resale market for these gets pinched.

I'd love more for my MCC Xbox One that I paid $350 for. And I'd love more to trade in for an Xbox One X that costs $100 more than the standard model. But because that will never happen, I'm out of the Xbox upgrade path.

I tried this and totally fucked up. Redeemed one $100 for $90 to see if it would add right away and it did. Then I bought 4 in bulk and I get the "Pending Verification" on my order. I called Amazon and they told me it was because I ordered them in bulk and it's a red flag for fraud. I told them to please verify as quickly as possible so they are sending an email over but I don't know if it will be done in time for me to be able preorder from the store. I sure hope so.

This is what I get for trying to be cute about it.

IDK I think the Scorpio edition looks corny..Not a fan of the text on the front. I want the X but I'll definitely wait for the standard edition
