Well, I interpret it like this: if this game had no PC version, but did get X1X improvements, then that would be the best way to play it. But with the PC version existing, this will not be the case, and it will always be the definitive version on a fast PC.How? What does XBOX even remotely have to do with this?
It would have easily sold a million had they released it on day 1. This way? Nah.
Thanks, that gives me a good idea.
Too bad, no one except Bandai-Namco seems to be into creating action RPGs with full coop.
Being on pc isn't going to magically make this game any better.
1080Ti as recommended, what a hot mess this is going to be.
This isn't even worth a steam sale.
I don't believe these publishers react that quicklyWith the way game sales have been trending, just wait another year or two...
That's not the general consensus at all.
Personally, I'd much rather have had FF12.
But I expect that to show up on Steam either exactly 6 months or exactly 12 months after its PS4 release date.
I don't believe these publishers react that quickly
(I also don't think they are capable of making the correct decisions to truly make optional coop something that serves to enhance an already solid single-player experience, like it does in Divinity:OS or the Dark Souls games -- but this is a topic for another thread)
I really hope this includes all DLC. Looks really nice.
This is XIII all over again, with time after the aftertaste finally kicks in, more negative opinions will arise.
The game is divisive to say at least.
Some recent VR games had 6 month exclusivity windows. But for FFXII I agree that 12 months is much more likely. Why 6 months? 12 I understand because that was the timming for X HD but 6 months? Where does that come from?
That's the odd thing is that there was no indication that FFXV would get these sorts of improvements on that new console. More like just straight IQ improvements.Well, I interpret it like this: if this game had no PC version, but did get X1X improvements, then that would be the best way to play it. Now, why someone would base their HW decision on FF15 I can't answer
Horrid distant LOD in pretty open world game strikes again. Ugh.

I have over 8TBs worth of hard drives. It's so easy these days to have plenty of HDD space on PC.
Here in the US, I can get a 1TB hard drive for as little as $40.
just wait a few months and fuck with the .ini file come on dude
A lot of people game on SSD's nowadays tho, especially big games like these.
It's weird to see so many people excited to play a game that got totally shitted on by Neogaf. I personally liked it quite a bit. Hopefully people can keep their expectations in check.
I just have 2x SSDs now, would have to clear out one entire drive for this game.

170 GB
youve got to be fucking kidding me with games these days
Pretty easy to move Steam games back and forth from an SSD to an HDD and vice versa. Steam Tool, for example. It's always a great compliment to an SSD to have a big HDD for storage. Makes it easy to make space on SSD for a new/big game.
