Well, we skipped over the FSN rate up and the Sakata Kintoki rate up, so we can always revisit them.

Looking at the JP schedule for year #1, November seems kind of cramped with GUDAGUDA, Okeanos, and Da Vinci's Choice. I could see them possibly bumping Okeanos to September.

Otherwise it's 4 more weeks of Mana Prism and QP farming.

I dunno but the game is slowly losing its grip on me. I started FFBE and don't do much FGO. This start is incredibly slow, might just come back in a few months when things pick up.

I was really into FFBE until I realized that it's Botting: The Game.

But yeah, this lack of content is wew. Luckily to 'keep up' with FGO during no-content-time is to spend 5 minutes twice a day running dailies.

Yeah I did FFBE before and gave it up, but I'm really digging it now. They've improved it quite a lot since I last played, to understate things.

I just don't know why they are slow rolling U.S. FGO so much. Even when they threw us a bone with 1/2 stam weeklies, it was a mistake and they quickly shut it down.

1/2 stamina dailies for as long as it was was a massive mistake.

We should still be working towards maxing our characters. Instead we're just grinding super rare items.

They already said that there isn't going to be any NA exclusive events. They also said that they are going to release the main story at the same pace as JP with part one ending at the end of 2018.

Obviously they can't move the Halloween and Christmas events around. GUDAGUDA is the only other actual event for the year besides those two. There's going to be a couple of points of huge downtime. Playing on NA is a good reminder of why I quit this game when it first came out. QoL improvements are nice and all, but they had some huge problems with content in the beginning.

I still have a lot of interludes and free quests untouched, so no event time isn't a problem for me. Dailies take up most of my AP on normal days anyway (110 on XP/QP + 90 on Pieces / mats)

That's unfortunate because while the brand is strong in Japan, it is less so here. I worry about the longevity of the game. The good news is that it only takes a few minutes to burn all my energy.

I wouldn't. They clearly have a small team on the game so the cost is next to nothing and makes ~40k/day.

Gotcha, I didn't realize how big this game was until recently. I hope it continues to do well but maybe if users start to drop off they will increase the content flow of the game. Like I said I don't want to have to wait two to three years to get caught up with JP version they should increase the speed of events for the US version.

And since we're not getting US exclusive events, the very best we can hope for is the rare simultaneous release of events in JP and US. Like if a new movie comes out and it's a worldwide release they might make an event based around the movie that will come to both US and JP at the same time.

4 weeks of no new content for a F2P gacha game would be a huge mistake imo.

Well, I guess we will have to wait and see. Let's hope they make decisions that benefit US players. I like the game and will be willing to spend money on it but they need to make sure they don't drag things out. For example the summer event going on right now, they should bring that to US next summer, not two years from now.

Man RNG is weird. I got 0 hearts up until today, from strictly running AP30 quest over and over after clearing all the story and 40Ap quests once. Now this morning in 4 runs I got 2 hearts.

So I'd expect some tie-in event at some point, though it'll be a long way off for us in NA.

I hope we get Okeanos in September. I'd rather not get the Halloween event early just to preserve the sanctity of the Original Japanese Release Content Schedule(TM), and having a new map means new story, new free missions, new free Quartz, new farming locations.

Christmas I can understand, but is Halloween actually that sacred? They've already moved the Moon-viewing event way forward, after all.

They moved it forward to coincide with the eclipse.

Halloween definitely needs to be in October.

Halloween actually introduces servants for Okeanos, and Christmas for London. They'll probably have to rewrite text or else you'll be meeting people you recognize from events that haven't happened yet.
