So... There was a small insect in my morning urine today.

Pretty sure it wasn't already in the toilet. A little black thing that looked like a lice. It was very small, i had to get it out with some toilet paper and inspect it up close to see it clearly. Oh and it was alive and well, in all it's crawling and twitching glory.

Can bed bugs or other parasites crawl in the urethra while you are asleep? It's either that or i'm jumping in the nearest fire.

Your first instinct was to grab it out of the urine water????

But srsly see a doctor if you have any discomfort. It could also have come from your pubic hair.

Bed bugs get pretty big, you'd notice one in your urethra.
A sentence I never thought I'd have to type.

Go see a doctor, like what did you expect the responses here to be? "Dw OP, happens all the time."

Other than seeing your doctor... you'd probably be more observant after the fact than before too. So you might have noticed it afterwards since you were staring down in the bowl, presumably, or it just managed to land there mid-stream.

It was probably already in the toilet. Could have dropped from the ceiling, or from the underside of the bowl. I mean, go for a piss again and see if there are any more. Chances are it probably wasn't hiding in you penis, but I'm not a doctor.

There's a 90% chance it didn't come from your urethra. It could have been trapped in your undies and fell out into the bowl when you pulled them down. If you have free healthcare then sure go to the doctor because what do you have to lose?

Serious question but have you been smoking meth? Being convinced that tiny bug crawling on the skin/under the skin/inside you is one of the side effects of it.

If not, go to the doctor ASAP.

You know those parasites that crawl into a fish's mouth, eat the fish's tongue, and then permanently live in the fish's mouth acting as a parasitic version of a tongue?

That's your penis.

Relax. Probably just a juvenile Candiru.

But in order of serious answer:

1. Occams razor its a carpet beetle larvae that was in your underwear or the toilet.

2. If you have no other symptoms just keep an eye on it.
