Rocky is literally dying of cancer. Even the Rocky movies wouldn't be crazy enough to have him fight Drago.

I love that Dolph is getting roles in big movies again. Someone finally noticed that he learned how to act. He shoulda been Cable.

Agreed, he has has always had presence and charisma but he now has some acting chops as well.

Also, he would have been ideal for Cable, good shout.

Is he just giving winks and nudges that he wants a role or is this the direction Creed 2 is going in? I like Dolph too but this seems like more of a Sly idea than Coogler's.

If Ryan Coogler isn't directing...idk if I will be as hyped, regardless of how much I loved Creed.

I don't see Michael B. Jordan returning unless Coogler is returning. Plus Michael B. Jordan has a bunch of projects he's already attached to from his next collaboration with Coogler in Wrong Answer to The Bittersweet Life remake with Jennifer Yuh Nelson.

Even the same series that had my boy Paulie fucking a robot? Anything is possible in Rocky

But I agree it would be a terrible move for the franchise after how normalized it has gotten since Balboa

Watch his TedX talk, I think the reason he wasn't getting roles was because he became an addict until he got clean around the time Sly called him for The Expendables.

What was he addicted too?

Seen him in a few things, he looks in constant pain, guess being a huge guy takes it's toll on the joints.

Yeah, there is no way Rocky is boxing in this next one. I'm not sure what they are doing with Dolph, but I trust it'll be good based on how the last movie was handled. Assuming Cugler is at the helm again that is.

Thanks, just watched it. The stuff about his childhood was powerful. I had no idea.

Dolph is a very successful guy in terms of accomplishment and he seems like a nice guy.

And a shout out to his very attractive daughter (Ida Lundberg).

One of my favorite movie villains ever. And he is a good representative for an average Swede. We all have master's degree in chemical engineering and are in amazing shape.

Dolph was 6'5, 250lbs and only 23 years old when they filmed Rocky 4. Dude was a fucking beeeeeast then and still is today.

Bring him back as Heman!

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
After Creed defeats Drago Jr then its time for the main event, Clubber Lang 2. Then after that aliens invade Earth and challenge us to a one time fight to decide the fate of our planet and species and only Creed is up for the job.

After which, Predator decloaks with a snarl.
He presses some buttons on his wrist computer and removes the mask.

It's Arnold as Dutch, smoking a Cigar.

"You are finally ready to be tested. Let's begin."

We need a female lead character in there that Dolph can bang throughout the whole movie.

This thread and that thread about Chinese-Americans in Mississippi made me think of IASIP immediately. That show is literally the modern "simpsons did it"

I guess I'm the only one that hates Drago is returning. It makes no goddamn sense. Hope Creed doesn't go full Rocky IV again..

Nah, you're not. Its a fucking ridiculous and stupid endeavor Stallone is pursuing, made even more ridiculous by the fact it aint even his series anymore. Its Coogler's. And he presumably has his own ideas about Donnie's story that doesn't include Sly sucking himself off in a sloppy nostalgic fury.

Take it easy. Coogler did an ok remake of Rocky, let's see if he can make a better Rocky movie than Stallone has before we throw Sly on the trash pile.
