This game is appealing to Dragonball fans that aren't necessarily watching the latest subs as well. I think classic characters are the biggest draw here.

I'm in this category, I love love love dbz, and i love anime. I will watch subbed anime, but dbz dub is special to me since i grew up on it and those voices matter to me, so I'm holding out big time. Haven't even dipped a toe into super until there's a substantial amount to feast on, but all the classic heroes plus the lack of a proper MvC2-2 has me at hype overload for this experience.

Yeah there's honestly no reason to have 17 in Z in the base game especially given the limited roster and the fact that he's playable with 18 is the best possible option. They give you the tank with rocket fists 16 (like I predicted) but they also give you 18 (the most popular) with 17 as her side character. That's the best possible option they could do with the limited roster.

17 gotta be in that sequel.
