Is the +10% for Pro members the normal bump, or is it a 10 percent bump on top of the normal pro bump?
Basically, should I be multiplying my trade values by 1.6 or 1.7?
Also, they'll take more than 6 and include the stack percentage on everything, right? Or just the 6?

It's calculated as 1.7. They took 25 games from me and applied the extra credit to all of them.

Should be 6+ like it was last time, though I haven't gone in and tried it this time.
But the minimum for full value is 6, I don't see why they would limit you at that point.

hmm I missed the last one but I have 2 game stops near me so this could work well. I also have a best buy in between.

and yes, you buy a gamestop gift card with your credit, and then either at the same store (if the clerk is willing to do it) or at another, you use that gift card to buy an amazon gift card
GameStop ended Amazon GC purchases with a GC.

Also, last time this deal was on they didn't let me buy a gamestop gift card with my gamestop trade credit card. I know it works, but sometimes the clerk won't allow it.

Yes but sometimes you'll get an employee / manager who insist you have to take cash value. Just go to another gamestop. That isn't policy.

Just ask for the Amazon GC and when it's time to pay just swipe your Gamestop GC

Yeah, I had to try 3 different Gamestops, as the first one was having issues with processing gift cards and the second one didn't even sell Amazon gift cards in general. But the third one gave me no problems. Just swipe the GS GC and you're good to go.
Genuinely surprised they're doing this again. I thought it was common knowledge that a ton of people exploited this promo by buying cheap games from Walmart/Amazon/wherever and then selling them to GS to get like $50 profit in GS credit. I remember a GS employee telling me when they were first doing this that "I don't think Gamestop realizes how good of a deal this is."
You CAN'T buy Amazon Gift Cards with GameStop Trade in Credit directly.
What you need to do is buy a GameStop Gift Card with GameStop Trade in Credit, then go to another GameStop and buy an Amazon Gift Card and pay with the GameStop Gift Card. Don't show them the gift card because some employees have been known to shut it down, just swipe the Gift Card at the card terminal like you would be swiping a credit card.

Yep. It's a 2-step process but it'll let you pay from a gift card.
Throw $5 on a new preorder of anything with them, and the GS associate will want your transaction to go through.
Since people were using trade in credit to buy gift cards and then buy Amazon gift card during the flipping fiasco GameStop shut down any GC -> Amazon GC transactions. I tried it myself. Just a warning.

Definitely hoping for a value bump this weekend. I'd like to trade in some of my Switch games and convert them to digital copies. I think I remember reading somewhere that Gamestop doesn't deduct from your trade value if you don't provide the box/manual. Is that true? I'd like to keep some boxes if that's the case.
Check the wording of the coupons some let you make multiple b2g1 on the same transaction, but it seems like the trade in values dropped... the dream is dead.

As for the Amazon GC thing none of the stores would let me do that with my players card or with an actual GS GC. The only way I got it to work was by using the GS GC to load the money on to my Amazon Cash account through my phone.

Persona 5: $32 at Best Buy this week (with GCU), trades in for $37.50
GTA 5: $24 at Best Buy this week (GCU), trades in for $29
That's it for "free money" right now. We need to see if they bump values up at the end of the month like last time.
