Taylor Swift: Reputation

I'm not a fan and I'm not the target audience but considering the whole thing with Ye and the drama surrounding her I was curious. Damn. This isn't the Taylor Swift I remember. This song just doesn't sound good...like idk what it is, I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't sound good at all.

Like it sounds like if the whole thing was a Clue-ish humorous parody music video then it might sound better as an interlude in an album or something but it's supposed to be serious and a single so nothing else matches up.

Nah not feeling it.

As someone who has been a fan of her music since Teardrops on my Guitar...I think this might be the worst song I have heard by her. It is not catchy, It is not relatable, It is simply obvious and worst boring.

What's sad is Fergie released a new song that at least tries to be fun. Who would have thought I would be like Fergie more than T-Swift.

the telephone bit is maybe the most embarrassing thing I've ever heard in a pop song. I can't get over it. it's so bad

What an edgelord would sound like if they were white, beautiful, and one of the most famous and successful people on the planet

"What is 'that part?'"

Yeah...that telephone part is the one part that my mind keeps going back to like it sticks because it's so damn bad man. Like shit at least hire Kendrick and let him put some metaphors in that shit so it's not so obvious and bad. That's just ugh.

For the first time in years I've cringed while hearing a track.

I fucking love it.

Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. I like it quite a bit. The phone bit is pretty juvenile, but eh. I'm definitely excited to hear the rest of the album.

I loved 1989, so I figured that I'd stay up and listen when the new single dropped. The song was horrible. Nothing redeemable, hated everything about it. I can only hope the rest of the album doesn't sound like this trash.

as a hardcore 1989 stan, the only good thing i can say about this is that if the album is more of this then i wont have to spend $500 on tickets to her concert again

That chorus is dreadful. It's like she's trying to outdo the Chainsmokers or something. Other than that, seems like she couldn't shake it off and went back to the scorned Taylor.
