Leveling up Cordelia now to build her with Firesweep L+, and Galeforce is a lot of fun. First time ever using galeforce. Was a bit iffy on the promotion/investment at first but she's a lot of fun and totally worth it.
I envy you guys. I've got like 4 4* Cordelias with crap IVs like hp+ and def+ plus atk- spd-. I've checked the IV enough that she's one of them I memorized the numbers.

The only mage fliers so far are limited units attached to popular characters. Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to do it a 3rd time. :/

Could see a red flier being in the Halloween banner.

Never thought of that, but it's a no-brainer. Witch on a broom with a red pumpkin tome is almost too obvious.

She's already a red Mage unit though, so I doubt very much that it'd happen...

Leo did remain a red tome user between his standard incarnation and NS, so it's not without precedent. Neither would be doubling up on Tharjas between Christmas and Halloween, going by the Spring and Summer Xanders.

That's a bloody good point!

Is there an updated list as to what characters to send home for feathers? I'm at my cap and don't want to expand the barracks unless I need to. :(

She's already a Christmas unit, so I doubt they'll have her during Halloween as well.

EDIT: Well I guess Xander getting both Summer and Spring units kinda fucks up that logic. Nevermind.

Most units have some benefit for inheritance at the very least. A good way to clear space would be to merge some of the units at 4*. For instance Olivia, Cecilia , Palla and Corrin F are examples you came gain a lot of at 3 and 4* and a 4*+5 is equal to a 5* in stats and a 4* +10 is equal to a 5*+5.

I merged my Olivias and instantly regretted it. She's a great source of hone attack

Nino and Corrin are still available for that, and you could leave a spare.

Not to say merging isn't a good idea especially for units like Cecilia (although she has escape route).

I'd say it's a pretty good idea to keep a few Olivias and Corrins handy in case a new unit comes out and you need a C slot. It doesn't feel like they'll ever run out but when you hit a drought it definitely sucks. Nino doesn't get hone attack 3 until she's 5 star.

Luckily mine is neutral on Atk and Spd. Not the ideal IV. It they work.
Neutral atk and spd is still good for her?

The tricky part is that I used to have like 5-6 palla so I handed out moonbow like candies to most my units. Now, it's been almost 2 months without getting her. This kind of irregularity causes me to horde everything which isn't the best idea...

If it wasn't for having pulled a Roderick I likely wouldn't have bothered but with LaD and the speed seal she gets to 55atk 41 Spd with Firesweep L+ before buffs and that's still really good.

I almost never send anything home at this point because I see value in every unit (some exceptions are healers).

You could name any unit and I could respond with some inheritance or actual build use.

You don't need 11 MRobin's so send a couple home. Azama and Serra can go. Gwen is a good source of Home Armor but you need 4 tops, so ditch 2.

You've got a lot of good inheritance material and your best way of cutting down on your army is to start inheriting. Start using Odins for Moonbow (save one or two for his blade tome) which is arguably the best special in the game for Arena because it procs so fast. Hinata for Fury 3 is a great pull, arguably the best A skill, so look up some builds for your favorite units, they likely include Fury 3. Positional skills are really important, so things like Swap/Reposition (Barst) should be inherited into some of your favorite units. Your Subakis are a great source of Quick Riposte to give to slower units like Xander.

In other words, your solution isn't to send home, start inheriting skills and building stronger characters. There are 4* characters that with very well with some inheritance and merging. You could build a really awesome MRobin with merging and inheritance that would solve all your colored enemy problems for Squad Assault and Arena Assault.

3* Beruka is probably the most worthless summon outside of most healers.

I only did the 3* but their 4* versions would usually just have a higher level support skill.

Weapons: All special weapons are available for inheritance at 3*. A stronger version of it is only available at 5*. Legendary weapons on a 5* hero can't be inherited.

Support Skills: Reposition is arguably one of the best (Barst and Selena) but Swap and Draw Back are also good. I like to combine those support skills with a passive to reduce the inheritance fodder needed (i.e. give Subaki to someone for Swap and QR1 and 2).

Specials: Everyone loves Moonbow (4* Palla/Odin) but if you run out, alternatives include Ignis/Bonfire (for heroes with high Defense), Iceberg (for high Res), Luna (stronger Moonbow with longer cooldown), and Dragon/Draconic specials (straight damage). However, all of these specials require 2/3 skill inheritance slots and are only available at 4*.

So for instance if you want Moonbow and Goad Fliers from Palla (5 skill slots), you'll have to inherit from 2 Pallas, but you'll only need one 3* and one 4*.

From the 3* Palla, inherit New Moon, Spur Spd 1, and Spur Spd 2.

From the 4* Palla, inherit Moonbow, Goad Fliers, and whatever else.

Passives: some passives are worth promoting to 4* for (cavalry/flier/armor-specific buffs). But for most of the others, skill level 2 is already fairly good, and for some heroes the 3rd level is available at 5* so it's not worth the feathers.

Awesome stuff man, thanks! Appreciate the write-up.

Oh right. I have Lance and Axe Valor.

EDIT:
Hooray. Atk+1 and Spd+1 seals mean I can finally follow some of the chain challenge guides. Also pulled a +HP/-Def Peri. Up to 3.75% now.

Done with those. I am glad I still had a level 20 Raigh and level 20 Matthew. I raised my 4 Selena zu 35, my 14 arthur to 25 and my Oboro already was 40.

5 Orbs. :A

Probably too late but don't send home Gwendolyns. Hone Atk 1 and 2 are very useful to serve as precursors to Hone Cavalry/Fliers - she also gives Drag Back which is a nice skill to give both fliers and cavalry as well.

3* Beruka is probably the most worthless summon outside of most healers.

Beruka is an amazing unit in her own right. With the right build she can even tank and kill Ryoma.

From the 3* Palla, inherit New Moon, Spur Spd 1, and Spur Spd 2.

I would strongly advise against doing this as well, Palla's 4* skills are way too valuable, you could instead inherit Spur Atk 1 and 2 and Reposition on a flier from Barst and then only use one Palla to teach Goad Fliers. New Moon can be learned from Frederick.

From the units you've listed I would check out the natures on the Ests and Oboros and send a few home that aren't +Atk.

Nope, didn't send any units home just yet. Thanks for the update, will add her to my "keep" list!

Great! As I wrote in the previous post I'd check out the Oboros and Ests and send home non +Atk ones.

I can provide you with use for any unit you might like to point out.
