The only reason the Wii servers went down was because of GameSpy going under. Even with the upcoming death of Miiverse, the Wii U online servers are still gonna continue. And once they prematurely shut down the servers like Wii and Wii U?

Hopefully Nintendo offers larger cartridge sizes to developers in the future, 'cause this doesn't seem like the best solution. I understand the situation, but it still seems like a weird work-around.
And once they prematurely shut down the servers like Wii and Wii U?
This is annoying. Males the small amount of storage seem like a bad move now.
Right, this is almost as unacceptable as their online voice chat 'solution'.Hopefully Nintendo offers larger cartridge sizes to developers in the future, 'cause this doesn't seem like the best solution. I understand the situation, but it still seems like a weird work-around.

Not to mention that you can still download/play games on the Wii Shop and Wii U eShop. The only reason the Wii servers went down was because of GameSpy going under. Even with the upcoming death of Miiverse, the Wii U online servers are still going.
This never happened. You can still download games.
Isn't it misleading to say "microSD card required" ? What if you have enough internal space left?
I really hope no first party games will do this.
Sd cards are dirt cheap. And SanDisk just announced a 400GB one so the others are only going to get cheaperThey should just ship a SD card to every customer that requests one :|
Because you're not downloading the full game.If the game is bigger than 32GB and the internal storage is 32GB how can you have internal space left?

Is it too much to make cards larger than 32gigs? That's crazy. Why not just have all cards have nothing and require downloads if they don't consider it to be a problem.

The OP picture is referring to the digital download version.
Larger cartridges would cost even more and game companies are not willing to absorb that loss.Hopefully Nintendo offers larger cartridge sizes to developers in the future, 'cause this doesn't seem like the best solution. I understand the situation, but it still seems like a weird work-around.

Kinda makes it pointless to own a physical copy since the data inside the cart is incomplete.
Now? I've been saying this from day one of the specs reveal.
I guess it's too expensive to pull a vita and have two carts for now.
Why don't they just offer 64GB carts for games larger than 32GB? It'll be once in a blue moon, and 64GB as a standard will last them the generation.
Hell, they can do Disc 1 and Disc 2. Anything to save people space.

I don't understand why a basketball game should be > 32GB?
So you can never sell this?
Apparently it's 25GB.
Why not?
And once they prematurely shut down the servers like Wii and Wii U?
Is the downloaded part tied to an account? That's the way it is with most downloadable games on consoles.
I got a feeling the Switch's servers will likely be part of a larger ecosystem that'll survive a bit better than Wii and Wii U.And once they prematurely shut down the servers like Wii and Wii U?
Another blow against physical games. I didn't think there was a limit to Switch cartridge size?

Yeah, Switch will survive even longer than those are right nowThe Wii and Wii U servers never even died though. Not sure what he even meant.

Yes. You'll need a microSD card to play the full game. What's not to understand.
Anyway another win for the Full digital crowd woop woop.
I mean loss for consumers
