That's what I do with the Beastcast.
I just listened to it for the first time since July so I'm mostly catching up on old episodes.
It's weird too cause I really like almost everybody on the Beastcast

I can't listen to any podcast unless I'm doing something else. Otherwise it just makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. Being inefficient.

I just find it inexorably boring to hear people talk about it.

Granted Jason's wheelhouse is small I do appreciate that he has different tastes then the rest of the crew.
The main issue with him and Rorie is that they are terrible at explaining stuff. Rorie tends to get stuff wrong alot and Jason isn't good at explaining stuff to someone who isn't already into what he is talking about.

I feel like Jason will most likely get better when he can get back out onto the main podcast table with the other guys and engage in the conversations more. It just takes time but it cant be easy sitting at the end out of the way.
Rorie content just isnt for me. I skip his Bombcast episodes and no longer watch UPF.

Destiny 2's story is very cliche and at times corny but I really enjoyed it. It's a good introduction to the new playable areas and some of the new systems, not to mention you get some decent exotics along the way. It also has some great set pieces. I do agree that it could have focused a lot more on the amazing mystical side Destiny has going for it but most of that stuff is in the adventures, scannable environments, and quests which is fine by me.
I tried Nightfall alone. Nope.
The story is like the sight-seeing tour of Destiny 2. Look at this pretty level. Now look at this pretty building. That's cool and totally fine by me. Playing strikes now everyone just runs past the levels anyway to go and shoot stuff.

Following the Ben/Abby discussion from earlier, is it just me or does Ben lean a lot more towards innuendo/explicit stuff and that kind of humour than most of the others and has pushed GBwest that way slightly? Like even more of a boys club..
I definitely noticed it when he first started, as he would make those kind of remarks about almost everything when he was trying to make a joke, which was often.
He's fine apart from that but I wish he would cut it out, its things like that that make women uncomfortable in male dominated fields.

Mainstream material with nothing offensive. Def was made for the whole family.
I finally got to do The Pyramidion strike last night and I just wanted to soak the whole thing in but whoever I was with kept rushing through. That strike is probably one of my favorite things I've seen in a game this year but it would've been nice to kind of slow down and enjoy every bit of it my first time.
The game refuses to give me that strike. I keep hearing good things about it.

I'd say even if Dan doomed the earth to the alien menace it was worth it all for this.
Also they should do a back to back film & forties of face/off, con air and the rock. I can take or leave the rock though.

No, I haven't noticed, but innuendo is a universal thing. There's a big difference between making innocent dick jokes and projecting your sexuality in a locker room-esque way. The latter would be annoying, yes, but the former is typically fine in moderation. Ben doesn't project the kind of toxic masculinity you seem to be talking about at all.
Also, I want to take this opportunity to shout out The Polygon Show again. Continues to be great. Four very cool women talking about a nice variety of games. Some innuendo, but not a deafening amount.

I had a weird fucking dream where Drew Scanlon and I were returning to my high-school but only for one class a day, and it was like a technical shop/CNC class and Drew couldn't make the first day so I went and it turns out the teacher wanted us to fill the room with a huge diorama of a landscape on which we would place hundreds of tiny models of Drew, and there was a pool of water in the corner and I started working on a model of the Murder Island. Like in the dream I had pretty good ideas for how to build a floating island model out of laser cut fiberboard and I'm still pretty sure they would have worked

I just watched it a few weeks ago for the first time since the 90s and it was great.
I saw it in 1998 but I was 8, and I remember being scared by the face surgery scene I think but that's all I can remember

The problem is he did it during Destiny 1's glaring faults as well, so with him saying just that, I assume it's just Brad being Brad and I listen more to Jeff.
Yeah, that stuff is what I dislike the most, especially since Brad can articulate himself pretty well on most subjects
Not saying he shouldn't fight for his favorite game, but man he better come in better prepared than back then with D1
I totally get it. You should def listen to Jeff over Brad about Destiny but this time around I felt Jeff was reaching a bit but that's how he felt.
