That's good.

How is that company still in business?
They've been releasing DRM-free Eurojank RPGs for the past 20 years with stunning post-launch support, going by the common AAA publisher knowledge, they should have ran themselves out of business ages ago.

The year of Mass Effect: Andromeda is the year of Divinity: Original Sin 2.

We're officially in the mirror universe. And it is not at all what we thought.

That says nothing.

Doesn't hurt to retweet, and Ghostlight have been doing some good ports lately. I know they are working hard on Lost Dimension and Tokyo Xanadu, so I hope the performance of those games can attract more JP devs to have them port their titles to PC.

I stopped caring about Atlus games on Steam for a while but I do wanna know if we'll ever see Vanillaware games on Steam.
You can already see Atlus game on PC, at least. You don't even need to wait at all.
RPCS3 has advanced a lot this last year.

They're also working on Omega Quintet.

Vanillaware has said in the past they are interested in doing a port, surprised we haven't seen anything yet.

Yeah. Because they don't own Muramasa, Dragon's Crown and such. So it means respective owners of these IP dont want to.

As for the Ghostlight/Vanillaware thing: It's not happening. Atlus wont let that happen. Ghostlight always wanted to do the SMT/Persona ports, Atlus likely refused.

After 50 hours i finally entered the third (and what's probably the last) map of DOS2.

Did i tell you already that this game is freaken HUGE

I've put 47 hours in-game according to Steam and I'm still in the middle of Act 2.

Only half of the map is covered and I'm currently inside a huge dungeon.

The game is huge yet meaty. It's so good.

Eh, my interest in trying out the series dropped too much for me to go through that trouble. I mean if somehow the series did get an official PC release, I would likely eventually try it out but I'm not dying to play their games.

Planet Coaster is about 30 bucks right now. Is it worth it? I've been hoping for a lower price but I'm a huge fan of classic Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Great giveaway, thanks~.
I can already see it:

"The Disney Afternoon Collection -- MB-6C629C162935A88E - Taken by Orakio Rob. 72 entrants total. - Taken by Chairmanchuck"

It is $10 over at Humblebundle for the next 24 hours, and IMHO well worth it at that price ;3
I strongly recommend it, the games aren't difficult and are made more easy thanks to the Rewind function. TaleSpin is actually an interesting title. It's not as bad as you were led to believe, and while it has its flaws, the core idea for the game is quite good.
DuckTales 2 in particular is a lovely underrated platformer.

I'm in the middle of Hollow Knight right now so I will probably hold off on Steamworld since they are similar genres. Excited for the positive reviews.

JaseC alert, this game has collectables!

http://store.steampowered.com/app/463760/The_Beggars_Ride/

I have a really bizarre habit of just getting games that have a fancy cover or banner on Steam.
I really though this was a PnC Adventure game, turns out it is a puzzle platformer.

You play as an old chubby vagrant who despite his girth can jump a good high distance.
He is teleported into a strange world and finds masks that grant him powers that he must use in order to progress. Said powers include tilting the screen right and left to move objects about among a few others.

The game has a nice mix of puzzles and platforming, although the Beggar can be irritating to control due to a few reasons
1- When he jumps and grabs a ledge it takes a while for him to climb it even if you are holding Up
2- The Beggar has a fixed movement speed and this can throw one off when it comes to doing some jumps

I think if the ledge grab was altered it would've been better cuz as is it is irritating.

The Beggar cannot attack enemies that he may encounter, but can use his powers to destroy them. Up until the last 1/4 or so of the game, it is a smooth ride. A few irritating bits here and there but nothing too irritating. By the time you obtain the final mask however, the next area features a bunch of irritating puzzles (the first of which I spent 30 minutes on because the game glitched out and didn't give me the key orb I needed to open a gate!) that really soured me on the game.

Still it was an overall good experience. If the dev team could fix up the end game and make it less tedious I would've liked it a lot more but it is def. a game worth checking out if you like platformers.

The game has collectables in the form of golden trinkets which I didn't bother collecting all of, and I guess they're there for collecathon's sake :p

Also fuck this puzzle

Same boat. I'm 20-something hours in it and still feel like I'm in the middle.

Loved the first Steamworld, so I'm looking forward to getting to the next one.

Is Route B bad? Should I soldier on through it for the good parts?

It isn't bad (altho repetitive) and you have no choice not to play further, but i don't want to spoil anything.

Route B is 100% mandatory. You've played Visual Novels, you know how it works.

Route B has a shift in gameplay style and makes you redo a chunk of Route A's story missions, but offers a different perspective in them while also having some new world-building sidequests pop up. A lot of important information gets revealed though, and those lead up into route C, which is the true final act of the game. No other way around it but to push on through!

Route B has you replay Route A, just with a different character and slightly different levels sometimes. There are some neat things and ramps up a bit near the end.

Then you play Route C/D/E, which is all-new content and things get real.

I finished Act 1 of Vanquish today and it was... boring.
I don't understand what the fuss is about.

Does it get more interesting later, or it's just more of the same?

I tried for 5h, but had to give up - and lowered the difficulty in Divinity: Original Sin 2 from Classic to Explorer.

#filthycasual

But it really feels weird when every single foe you encounter seem to be able to wield magic like master warlocks, and every encounter ends with the whole screen set on fire. :)

You need to slide around. If you play it like gears it ain't gonna be much fun.

I am trying, and i did that few times but i guess i am just not good enough at it, idk. If i don't get to cover from time to time they destroy me.

Maybe it's just me tho. i am really having hard time finding any enjoyment in shooters. Especially in last few months.

Atlus are completely fucking inept. They hardly even release their games on any HD platforms.

I'm sure a lot of their games rule, but no thanks @ handheld ghetto.

One of my first games was theme park. Grew up on a diet of rollercoaster tycoon. Planet coaster is damn near perfect at what it does. Frontier keep adding heaps of new rides and scenarios too, fantastic game.
