Fair play to them though. I only watched the second half but they seemed to play well.

Why the fuck would you play with 3 defenders but then allow Sergio Ramos to be an extra striker leaving you with 2 defenders while tied 0-0.

Seriously it's even stupid in a videogame let alone in a real football match. And they were lucky because if Betis attackers actually passed the ball they would have scored earlier. So exposed while tied 0-0? I don't get it.

Seriously. There were like 3-4 attacks in the last 10 minutes with Betis having at least 1 man more on the attack.

Wow, I'm the last person to mourn a Real Madrid loss usually, but that 0 there next to their name is kinda sad. 74 games, I don't think we'll see a run quite like that for a long, long time.

I like the score for all other reasons though :)

What the fuck is happening to us? Have the players lost their drive to win and play? Our offense is nonexistent. It's like after they beat Barcelona in the supercopa they went all like "yeah, we're done".

Say what you want about Bale but Ronaldo wasn't much better, a lot of wasteful shots

7 point gap after 5 games though

Real had quite a number of games like this also last year, but it was always a Bale, a Ronaldo (especially in the last part of the season), a Morata, a James or an Isco stepping up and scoring a goal from a personal action.

Plus the huge number of header goals from corners.

It's depressing stuff trying to read about Sampson's sacking I tell ya. Oliver Holt brings up a good point at how sheepish the women who abandoned Aluko and embraced Sampson must be feeling tonight. It only took half a dozen replies for the controversy to be dubbed "PC culture gone mad". Because apparently they're afraid a black person is going to replace Sampson and *that* is the issue here...

I really didn't think it was this bad nowadays. Maybe it is just Twitter but how horrible a noticeable amount of people are is staggering.

I think I'll have to stop reading about it, or at the very least Twitter. It's too sad.

Tune out anyone that cries 'PC culture'. What these people fail to realise is Sampson wasn't fired over the Aluko controversy.

He was fired for something that has yet to be explained but looks really fucking dodgy.

Maybe we aren't PC enough if a guy doesn't get fired for being racist but gets dropped the second there is a hint he diddles young girls.

The fa just said that he was clear to manage another women's team? Perhaps he was grooming someone/being inappropriate rather than actually "diddling" anyone

Grooming and actually touching someone is a very thin line. If he was doing either he should never work in football again.

Let's see what comes out.
