Hopefully we get some of the stuff they ended up cutting (Dawn trailer please).

Other than the Luna stuff *pukes*, very interested in seeing more of Ifrit and Shiva.
I wonder if the rumor of them cutting some of her scenes from the final game was true? I'm always fine with more Luna.

It's easy to get cynical but every update they make this game just a little bit better. Maybe it'll be a classic when everything is all said and done. Either way as a final fantasy fan I'm just excited to see the commitment to a game I actually liked but have a list of nitpicks higher then the sun.
I'm curious to why people keep expecting this? They never made any special version of XIII-2 and LR that included all the extra dlc. I mean if it does happen, great but I feel like people might be setting themselves up for disappointment.

Feels bad that this game is so incomplete. I'm sure once all the content is together i'll remember it more. I'm very impressed with the support, however.... there are meaningless things like that fishing event. Sigh, they should just focus story content. I look forward to seeing a lot more of Luna.

Why? You got to play a complete experience that had a great many things to do and see.
By the time this is all said and done, you will have another opportunity to play the game again with tons of new features that may transform your experience.

Final Fantasy XV: Universe is just their name for all of the different XV content, like Kingsglaive, FFXV, Brotherhood, Pocket Edition, etc. It's not a new edition of the game.
Pretty awesome trailer...and I dont mind that they keep adding stuff to this,finished the main game,jump back in once in a while to do the Companion DLC's,Comrades is going to be cool if they they fix the hub and the set up to get in and out of matches etc etc...pretty happy with FFXV despite its faults.

Wonder if these will be integrated into the game or more "extra scenes from the menu" like the chapter 13 stuff. Really looking forward to the Ifrit and Shiva stuff. Looks like maybe some Starscourge background and we'll actually get to see what happened between Shiva and the Empire.

All these new updates is making me glad I've been too lazy to Platinum the game. Then again, I'd probably start from scratch to experience the story another time.

You know it'll be interesting to see what a ps5/Xbox something port will review like(we all know it's a lock to happen)
81 with all its story problems and gameplay inconveniences. Love to see what would happen after everything is in. Most ff's get a lower score when remastered maybe this'll be higher

I'm really impressed with the support this game has received post launch. If this game had launched with a competent story, it would've been a game of the generation contender. I still had fun with it though.

Given Tabata's team's proven ability to iterate, I'd be pretty surprised if the inevitable remaster wasn't seen as a complete improvement over the main game. I'd really like to see them take a second pass over some of the systems, International Zodiac Job System style! Maybe for the PC version? Tabata indicated he wanted to do more than just purely port the game.

I want to say good on them for continuing to add story content to the game, but they are adding stuff that should have been there from the beginning. Don't know how substantial these much needed story content additions will be and I still wish they gave you the option to integrate the character DLC episodes into the main game.

I downloaded the game and when I started it, it says service is over since March.
I hope the story content is meaty. The Chapter 13 Verse 2 stuff was nice but it wasn't enough. I hope it's not just 10 minutes of extra scenes. I really do wish they would integrate the DLC and new story content. Just integrating Episode Gladio and Episode Prompto would provide a lot of additional story. I'm also excited to see more Gentiana since we know she was originally supposed to have a much larger role in the story as Luna's messenger to Niflheim.

Because things like A King's Tale and A New Empire aren't canon. A King's Tale is just a made-up bedtime story Regis tells Noctis.

Anything listed under "Free Updates" is free. Episode Gladiolus, Prompto, Ignis, and Comrades are part of the season pass and can be bought individually. Beyond those four DLCs, everything else is free.
Ready for the pc mods that unweeb the hair by using these alternate models.
