hmmm Disney Afternoon Collection (PSN) and Mega Man Legacy Collection (humble) are about the same price. Which of them has better games overall if I haven't played them ever before?

I recently tried playing MML collection 1 and thought it was pretty bad. I know Id personally have more fun with the Disney collection. Especially since it has a rewind feature. Mega man doesnt have that. Just a one save state which sucks as the games get harder.

Man, I really love Steamworld Dig 2. When it was announced I remember being a little disappointed. Like I loved the first game but I thought each game in the series was gonna switch up the gameplay style like Dig to Heist. But I'm glad they did this, it's really good.

Princess Serena feels like it is in an even worse state than the SakuraGames published games. Not only is it machine translated, supposedly it has untranslated text and crash to desktop bugs. What makes it worse though, since the other 3 are 1:1 to what SakuraGames would put out is that Princess Serena also cuts off sentences:

So I see both Theif: Gold an Deus Ex are on sale. Is there any issue with either of these running on new hardware? I know gog is probably better as IIRC they tool/tweak them a bit to run better/be more compatible etc but I don't have a way to but from gog atm and they're like $2 each. I won't need to like get dosbox or something to make these run will I? I can just run them direct from steam?

That's a really slick deal. I'll keep my eyes open for impressions as well.
I kept pocking at Princess Serena and noticed the game has the RPG Maker project file in the directory. I'm not an expert about these things (I installed and booted RPG Maker VX Ace just today only to mess with this game to try and fix the text cutoff issue) but I don't think it should be included. Since it was included though I managed to reduce the font size and have lines not be cut off (also gave a name to the game):

Not bad. Not great, but definitely better than what is there - since official rate is €1 = 4.25 PLN, plus 4-5% of conversion fee when paying in €.
Although Valve confirmed Polish region keys will be redeemable in whole Europe, so I'm guessing most publishers will use official rate. :\
It looks like The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk has been delayed a few weeks. The store page still says "September 2017", but it's now nestled between two October 20th releases on Steam's Coming Soon list.

You'd probably be better off editing the script directly to add in the line breaks. And re-localize it while you're at it.
Figment is also cheaper if one got Back To Bed for free and now the "complete your collection" is only at 14.72

Stop playing it like a cover shooter and be more risk taking. The game is all about running around the field and using your meter for crazy ass guns akimbo blasting.
If you are incapable of doing that, then just drop it, no need to put so much time into a game if it doesn't manage to keep your interest.
I thought Vanquish was boring too.
According to someone: treat Vanquish as an action game, not a shooter game, and it'll click.

I started doing that and it became little better. But it still feels like a horde mode with 2 enemy types and few weapons.
Dishonored 2 is actually very light on story. There's not really anything to spoil in that regard. You're usurped by Delilah, you get revenge on Delilah, and there are a couple of small twists in between, one of which is ruined by Billie Lurk being the protagonist of Death of the Outsider.

Yeah, I guess the first one kinda was too now that you mention it. Anyway, turns out it's on sale on bundle stars right now so this gave me the push I needed to finally grab it. I actually really loved the first one (and I'm a huge fan of Deus Ex/Thief kinda games in general), so I'm really not sure why it took me this long to get around to it.

I have tons of games to play but I'm replaying Arkham Asylum for something like the fourth time and it's still so good! It really is in the top 10 of my top games ever list.

Asylum's graphics have not aged well though, when I played it I was rather turned off by the muted colors. I also found combat in certain areas to be irritating namely in 'small' rooms or areas with lots of enemies and little space to navigate through.
Still a solid game though.
True, but it has such thick atmosphere that I feel nostalgic playing it, like coming home again. Is Arkham City as replayable? I've never gone back to it but should some day.
For travelling around the world and the filler moments between that, I would argue it it's design feels more and more dated. However it's centerpieces such as boss fights or when you have to sneak around to get in somewhere are still good.
