The level 56 raptors near the crystal where you find the wifey. Agro the group of 6 of them dodge one leap, bandit tackle the shit out of all of them, then kill them on the next dodge :D teleport back and repeat

Yeah, tried that. Might take a while. I even have gambler coin and that drop++ on. Seems like it's limited to only a 1-4 drops with bandit tackle.

^Yes I also did that.

On another note: (mid? chapter 5 spoilers):
These cube puzzles with Dana in the light hall are fun. Please let me change Dana style in the present era, falcom.

That's not the Silent Tower, it looks like.

Silent Tower has ore nodes and every enemy drops 'em as they're 'common' drop IIRC.
It's baha, everything here drops them too but this lets you max out everyone before progressing forward.

You can max out all your weapons before that, this is the fastest early spot. Takes about 15 minutes to max out the entire parties weapons

Which leads to some hilariously fast kills even on inferno *chapter 5 spoiler* Poor dude needed 2 or 3 life bars

Edit: They really messed that fight up by not having the adds auto agro you and the party the entire time no matter what as well

If this was a berserk game the prologue would have been the longest chapter :D
I was honestly expecting the post game dungeon to be like that little optional one you unlock in the main game. I couldn't have expected what lurked in there.

Wish there was a few more save points though.

Just a little bit more to go...

This feeds my hype haha

Yep, the post game dungeon can be kind of rough. Especially since -
If you end up leaving halfway through for supplies and come back, you have to fight the bosses again.

Just finished chapter 3 and it relt way shorter than chapter 2.
I thought chapter 2 would never end. Haha.
Really enjoying the game so far.

Yeah, that's the worst part. Hopefully you're going to tell me there's another save point near the end?

Hummels judgment shot having what feels like near 50 yards of range and going through walls makes exploring stuff feel so much different than the rest of the cast. Feels like I'm playing a bootleg stealth game with a rail gun lolol

Should be interesting when I get around to do my playthrough with him only when avaliable *doing this for everyone*

Edit:so far I like everyone for different reasons, sahad by far has the most satisfying move to use for me his 40 cost quake move, the aoe size, the damage, the animation it's just so good, slap a cost reduction acessory on him and everything just dies in an endless wave of rock

Yes that move is incredible to clean maps, specially at night raids. I will add Ricotta's screw fang that seems really good to break enemies.

So If I were to guess (chapter 5 sidequest spoilers)
the music sheet is at the palace no?

in the past in town no markers on mini map find the npc :)

Fetchquest from the past, but the reward was nice at least.

Yes and I almost missed it. Well that's it for today. I really put a good amount of hours today in this game. I don't know if the crazy ride has already started or not, but the game is amazing overall in my opinion. Definitely on track to become one of my favourites this year.

Finished last night with the true ending. Really really good.

Just deciding about whether to do a fast replay on nightmare on ng+ for the platinum

I love the wallop at the end of his spin attack ^_^ Ricotta's range attack has lovely weightiness to it as well.

So I found Ys Origins too hard, should I still give this game a chance? I imagine having healing items will help a lot.

Chapter 5 boss spoiler
Holy shit man FUCK okeanos
Yeah man isn't he a fucker with no items? The worst part is
when he fucking swipes you as you ride the currents back up.

Hit the last boss: the post dungeon finale. Got my ass absolutely handed to me. This might take a while.

I'm nearing 50 hours myself and I'm carefully saving stuff for later as well. Ys Origin is the only Ys game I put more hours in, but those were multiple playthroughs and extra stuff.

I hope
Old Bitch Carlan
dies. Hate characters like him in games where the protagonists are too dumb/heroic to get rid of him.

oh he's dead? I don't believe it.

Really loving this game but am i stupid or is this games map confusing AF at times? When you hit the L dir pad it pulls it up but you only see his head and not what direction hes going. If you hit the D dir pad it pulls up a different, closer map but its not even the same direction as if you had hit L instead. I find myself thinking im heading towards a story point or some other ? and i end up going the opposite direction.
