‘Destiny 2’ takes a third successive week at No1 and means that Activsion have taken 11 No1’s so far this year, split over 3 different games (Call of Duty IW/Crash Bandicoot N.Sane and Destiny 2).

As with last week, a further 6 new releases grace the charts: Debuting at No2 is Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios ‘Project Cars 2’ – the original game debuted at No1 back in week 19, 2015 and had a very successful week 1, with 35% of lifetime sales units generated in that week. Last week’s big new entries both shuffle down 1 place with 2K/Take 2’s ‘NBA 2K18’ down one place to No3 and Konami’s ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2018’ dropping one place to No4. Debuting at No5 is Nintendo’s ‘Pokken Tournament DX’ for Switch and debuting at No12 is Capcom’s ‘Marvel vs Capcom Infinite’. Nintendo’s re-releases of ‘Pokemon Gold Version’ (No18) and ‘Pokemon Silver Version’ (No21) take us back to 2001 when these 2 games were first released on Gameboy Colour – these 2 titles remain the 4th and the 6th all-time best sellers of all Pokemon games in the UK (the Top 3 are also Gameboy Colour releases: Pokemon Yellow/Red/Blue). The final new release this week is Telltale Games’ ‘Minecraft Story Mode Season 2’ debuting at No25.

Project CARS 2 imo suffered the most from the problems with the first game and not from the unfortunate premiere date (it's still a big factor, no denying that). Default controls on the controller were absolutely horrible in pCARS 1 and even with a game like this most people still play with a controller and not a wheel. Also I feel like they didn't promote the sequel well enough for the mass market, I mean do people really care that much about rallycross or ice racing? Oh and let's not forget about outsourcing the QA of the console versions. Geez, people got burned once already and the console sales are the majority, what were they thinking?

I still plan to buy the game for the PS4 but only after it gets some patches.

Same here (since the comments about having good legs). Then again, if GTSport is great fun -- I'm not sure I have the time for both.

Seems like a delay to 2018 would've been a good idea.

How much do we think estimated Forza Horizon 3 sales WW are at right now.
General ballpark sales figure for previous FHs if we have.

It hit 2.5 M in Jan'17 - Just in US iirc. And is consistently in the Top 10 PAL Charts.
Would love to see the final comparison between all racing games once PCars2, FM, GT, Crew2 drops.

I don't think that number is US only but rather WW. It would be incredibly impressive if it were US only where racing is a dying genre.

so still 164.5k units to go until it sold as much as Destiny 1 on launch*

It’s pretty much the main console bundle right now so it’s kind of hard to avoid not being able to pick it up.

I wonder how much a split FIFA will be. Sony are throwing it in every version of PS4s available (except the White Pro).

It's a shame 2K had to delay the physical version of 2K18 on Switch. It would have been interesting to see how it performed as a "fully"featured version that at first glance could almost pass for the current gen version in select shots. Now that the cats out of the bag that the game is a bit of a mess along with the VC scandal, I'm sure they lost a few impulse buys. Casual players were always going to be the driving force for the game, so it could perform admirably in the holiday season with less discerning consumers. The favorable graphical parity will be the game's strongest asset. Most probably won't go too far past graphical comparisons when looking up the game, and I don't think 30fps vs 60fps is enough to deter a more typical consumer who already wanted to pick up that version over PS4/XBO

Woher die Zahlen stammen bzw. wie sie erhoben wurden, sagt er nicht - offizielle Verkaufszahlen liegen nicht vor. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy kam am 30.06.17 in Europa und den USA sowie am 03.08.17 in Japan auf den Markt.

Germany chart is still August, so you have to wait a few weeks. It was never going to break top 5 in France in this season imo, that would have been insanely high.
