Does anyone think a Remaster of Battlefield 3 would be amazing?

Think about it, the game was beloved on PC but was greatly stripped down on consoles.

Imagine releasing at 40-50 dollars with all the DLCs released. I believe that's over 30 maps, 64 players for console that never got to experience anything other than BF3 at 12v12. Not to mention everyone would have premium so there would be no split playerbase which is one of the series biggest issues.

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Sure we have BF4, but something about BF3 really stuck with me in ways that BF4 never did. What about you guys? I just think of all these amazing multiplayer maps that we probably won't ever see again, it's a huge shame.

For me, battlefield 3 easily had some of the worst base game maps in a multiplayer shooter.

Return to karkhand ( If thats what it was called) finally added in some base maps.

I doubt EA would want to split there player base when BF4&1 are there. Plus BF4 is already fantastic

Plus EA already stated they aren't doing remasters.

Even though i already play it on PC, a remaster of BFBC2 would be much more appreciated

Battlefield 4 felt like a Battlefield 3 do-over for current-gen hardware.

They really should have ported Battlefield 3 maps into BF4 when the Premium DLC had all released, and consolidated the two experiences.

It's a good game, played only a little on 360.

I would be glad to see a remaster, but only after Bad Company 2!

Not really. I feel like it's DANA is to close to BF4 to warrant that.

BC2 on the other hand would be amazing.

Who paid you to grab Dr. Pavel?
I'd rather have a remaster of Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943

Give me Bad Company 2 remaster/remake

Toss me in with the Bad Company.

bf3 was the worst for me.

If we are going to get a remaster it has to be Bad Company 2

Bad Company 2

BF3 was terrible

My men. All hail Arica Harbor.

Don't care about 3 or 4. BC2 all day.

Bfbc2 instead
I'm gonna puke. 🤢

OK, I have to ask, can somebody explain to me why Bad Company 2 is always held up on a pedestal of perfection?

I remember playing the multiplayer, but while good, didn't find it to be any better than Battlefield 3, or 4, which is the one I ended up enjoying the most

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Before a remaster I think there's Battlefield 2 (World War 2), Battlefield 5, Battlefield 2045, Hardline 2 and Bad Company 3.

Nah bf3 has way to many balance issues and it's buggy as hell too. Bf4 is basically the same game with better maps and not buggy as hell.

BC3 is what I want

BC2 doesn't hold up these days as much as BF3 does. I went back to it on PC and while still fun it's pretty dated. BF3 at 4k, 64 players would look (and play) insane on current consoles.

Bad Company 2 on PSVR. It's pretty much the game I hoped they would announce when I heard PSVR was being released.

I'd be happy with the same sort of level of graphics if they could work out locomotion. I think the format and sound design would overcome what it might look like.

I second on BC2, but no changes, exactly how it is just better visuals.

This is the only BF game I'd want remastered. Battlefield 3 would probably be the last game from the series I'd want remastered.

BC2 not only had amazing MP, but it has an incredibly fun campaign. BF3 on the other hand, horrid campaign, okay MP.

Have you played it recently? Incredibly clunky controls - lateral movement when sprinting doesn't work. The movement, animation and shooting hasn't aged well.

I'd only accept it if the frag rounds meta came back.

Ftfy. Lol.

Seriously..... I still don't have the luxury of a gaming PC and I would love it if they remade BF3 and BC2 for current gen consoles. I had a ton of fun on both games. The final pieces of dlc for BF3 were pretty cool, especially Close Quarters and Aftermath were amazing on console.

Great level design for most of the maps.
Slightly less obnoxious unlock system vs 3 and wayyyy less obnoxious than 4.
Full destructibility of nearly everything.
No jets.
No maps that would 100% hard lock your computer.
Weird but interesting campaign story.
No "I win" unlocks like the NV scope in BF3.

BF3 and 4 definitely helped the movement be a little less sluggish, which was nice. That's why BC2 needs the remake more, so it can get the great graphics, the set pieces like the dynamic tropical storm in 4, and most importantly, updated controls.

Yeah, under this new engine, it would be pretty solid.....

Also Bad company 1 and 2.......Man EA is making all the bad decisions....

BF4 is basically the evolution of BF3. I played both quite a bit and still play 4.

No need to remaster BC2 because it still looks great on PC.

I'd much rather they just made a new game LIKE BC2. What's the point of bumping the resolution and adding new textures on a game that is still playable and can still look quite good?

I don't quite get the clamoring for remasters I see from some people. =/

I want a remaster of Battlefield Hardline.

or at least bring the Blood Money game mode to newer Battlefields. That mode is dope.

all this

And another reason (for me at least):

no EZ-mode lock on bullshit. Wanna shoot something down or destroy a tank? Learn to aim.

They need to update the movement so you can at least sprint and strafe at the same time. Adding vaulting wouldn't hurt either.

But otherwise it should stay mostly the same. Just get rid of the magnum ammo (25% more damage) and armor (25% more HP) perks, since they were like required to use to be on an even playing field and they just cancelled each other out.

Getting good with the tracer dart is like being the enemy choppers worst nightmare. My buddy and I became really good at it, so one always tagged and the other one took them down with the RPG.
