The game you put most hours into

Not counting mmos since I've played them for 20 years, the numbers would be absurd. (and really really sad).

So, probably TESIV: Oblivion at about 500 hours.

Well going by Steam and memory...

I've probably got well over 10,000 hours in WoW.

Steam says 2,026 hours for DotA 2, and I probably put about 500 hours into DotA 1. 600 hours for Counter-Strike, not counting the time I played before Steam tracked play time, which probably at least doubles it, or my time in Beta through 1.5, which is probably another 300 or 400 hours. 260 hours in Rift. I would say I probably have about 600 hours in Diablo 3. A few thousand hours across multiple Pokemon games. Probably spent close to 1,000 hours playing Maplestory back in the day.

That is a lot of time dedicated...

Socom 2. I essentially played it every single day for 8 hours for 5 years. Huge hole in my gaming heart that game used to fill perfectly. I had a PC for 2 weeks and PUBG was the closest to filling it since.

I wish I had an actual number to it, but I played Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360 daily for like 5 years straight and even though it's not much +50 hours I have on PC.

After that DotA then League.

Halo5 with like 800+ hours.Still nowhere near max rank in that game's multiplayer.Sonic Heroes may beat that game in terms of hours played since I spent a lot of time trying to get all the emblems and all 141 A ranks along with speed running, score attacking and ring attacking a lot of the game's levels and time attacking the bosses to

It's hard for me to stick to one game, so my top top games are:

Dota 2 - 745 hours
Call of Duty 4 ~ 700 hours
Final Fantasy XIV ~ 600 hours
Guild Wars 2 ~ 450 hours
Diablo 3 ~ 300 - 400 hours

I think around 1000hours in Monster Hunter. Wow, Diablo 3 and Guild wars should be in the same league.

From the games in the current gen, Rocket League is the record holder with 600-700 hours. I am still bad af.

It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan.
PGR2, easily. I’m pretty sure I platinumed every event.

FFXI. Over 6700 hours from 04' and 06'-09' across 3 characters and 5 Lv. 75 jobs.

Non MMO would probably be Kingdom of Amalur. I think I have something like 800 hours on it.

I lose myself easily in RPG's. I also work my way through them painfully slow.

Easily The Witcher 2, by a decent measure. I think between GOG and Steam I've got somewhere around 500 hours or so. Of course that's not counting Megaman X, which I've beaten literally hundreds of times, (probably over a thousand), but there's no way to quantify that number so I don't know if it bears mentioning.

It's World of Warcraft even though I only played seriously for three expansions out of the total.

Then probably FF XI.

Taking out MMOs it's very likely all of the breeding in Pokémon Ruby. First time egg moves were really worth it plus natures and no good way to influence them. That shit TOOK TIME.

If we're counting all of the versions that have come out across multiple consoles, it'd have to be Snake Eater. I can never have enough of that game in my life...

Rocket League 2000+ hours
Cod (2 through mw2): close to 1500-2200 hours probably
Wow: 1440 ish maybe. I dont know how many days /played i had, but it was over 30 days different on two characters at one point.
BF3: 530 on pc, 678 on xbox360
BF4: 510 on pc
Diablo 3: probably 1200+ I botted alot. so i cant take the played time per class as accurate.

Street fighter 4 (all editions combined). About 500 hours on xbox and 900 on pc. After that I guess its paladins, 1,100 hours according to steam :D

Of all time? Probably Halo 2. I literally have no idea how much total. Must have spent hours playing almost every day for weeks, months, at least a couple years. Hundreds and hundreds of hours. Thousands. Got pretty good too. Went on some awesome sprees, knew all secrets/glitches.

Final Fantasy XIV - 146 days, 22 hours and 28 minutes, so 3,526 hours.

Final Fantasy XI - 62 days, 22 hours, so 1,510 hours. I never even did end game stuff or grinded much. Logged in for the first time in about a year to check this. The movement speed has been increased a ton, it's crazy fast. Also the sound doesn't work for some reason. The UI is also impossible to read on my 4K TV because it's the size of a postage stamp. Oh well. I'm not really playing it anymore anyway.

Final Fantasy X-2 - Around 217 hours including my 100% playthrough, my 100% Creature Creator playthrough, and my Last Mission playthrough. If we're counting all the time I've ever pent on the game, I did a previous 100% playthrough on PS2, and a second quick playthrough a few years later. At least another 100 hours.

Final Fantasy XII - 210 hours for a single 100% playthrough.

Final Fantasy XV - Going on 200 hours with all the DLC and it just keeps coming.

Final Fantasy X - I've done 2 100% playthroughs of the international version that both ran over 150 hours I think, and a playthrough of the original where I did everything except the monster arena. I've probably put a good 400 hours into it.

DDR - I have no idea. It consumed my life for about 5 years though and I regularly practiced for 6 hours a day for months on end. I've probably played this even more than FFXIV if you subtract all the AFK time. A good couple thousand hours at least.

Ocarina of Time - I used to just play this over and over and over when I was a kid, so it's gotta be up there. I stopped counting after I beat it the 50th time. I usually averaged 6-7 hours per playthrough. My first several were a lot slower.

Probably a sports game, PES for example I could put maybe 300+ hours a year into every year?

Oblivion I put a good few hundred into... think it was around 210hrs in the end?

If you mean totally, like a combination of how many times I have played it through to 100% completion then probably FFVII... will be over a 1000 hours in total but that's in multiple playthroughs throughout the years...

Counter-Strike (from beta to 1.6): Somewhere between 15.000 and 20.000 hours.

Other games don't come even close.
There is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory with ~800 hrs, WoW ~300 hrs and Witcher 3 with ~230 hrs.

Wow @ your playtime, thats crazy. Ive just played the game once in coop and was totally done with it.

Most of my playtime was put into civ 4-6, so theres no surprise here. Followed by Mount & Blade and other strategy games like CKII or Endless Legend.

Some huge jrpg are in the 100 hrs range too, like Lost Odyssey, Xenoblade or Dragon Quest. Some wrpg can be named like Fallout 3 and Vegas (playing atm, 50 hrs in), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Gothic 1 and 2, last title i played a lot that time on PC.

Surprisingly to me, i have played ZombiU for about 100 hrs, so addictive in the survival mode. Not really my Genre but the controls, Atmo and tense made it brilliant to me.

I think Zelda Botw will overtake the follower this time, last time i had an action adventure in the hundreds was Okami. So its a worthy successor.

But all in all i try to keep my games diversive referred to genres and themes.

I have like 7,000 hours in Runescape.

Followed by 2,900 in Dota 2 and 2,700 in Marvel Heroes.

I played a ton of WoW many years ago, but I have no idea how much.

I wish I had an actual number to it, but I played Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360 daily for like 5 years straight and even though it's not much +50 hours I have on PC.

I got addicted to Left 4 Dead 1 (on PC) but it was before Steam began clocking hours played so I'll never really know how much time I put into it overall.

Oh god definitely World of Warcraft I have about 2 years playtime I’ve built up since I started playing in 2007. Next best is Diablo 3 with about 1000hrs then xcom 2 with 500 and Xcom with 400. Fallout 5 is next with 58hrs then nothing else gets more than 20hrs.

Oops forgot about Breath of the Wild sitting at 60hrs.

Probably Melee, then botw. Played a lot of melee way back when with family n friends. Its what we always went too. Botw comes in at 2nd for 185hrs. Most other of my play seshs average less than that. Like max is ussually 80hrs for me to 100% something. Not sure how peeps put 200+ hrs in a game in half a year lol.

Easily FF XIV around 5-6k before I quit. Of all the posts OP is the most interesting tho, did you never got bored of it? I mean, MMOs and competitive multiplayer games are a different breed in my opinion but all those hours into RE5...damn :O
