Never mind the fact that there is steps that go down from ground level to the entry right?

you cant be serious

I prefer the transmission sounds in GT:S to RR, but it still needs work in all other areas. You can hear just how far behind it is of RR when it switches to chase cam

Sure GTS is missing some of the details in chase came but the engine note is there. PD just needs to add all those pops and bangs.

What did I do wrong now? do you know what's going on or do you just want to be in the middle of something?

the fact that it's steps going down from ground level to the entry of the police station shows that my question was valid.
the building is on a slant, the steps arent from ground level

Yeah? That's great!

Also, it's amazing how good Driveclub still looks and sounds compared to recent racers.
Was just playing DC this week. I wish there was better frame blending or motion blur. Looks really rough to me in motion. Looks terrific in gifs and stills, but it just looks choppy to me (although that lends itself to having an incredible sense of speed). Sound is quite nice, and I really like the lighting and general goals you have to hit playing it. Takes me back to a simpler time, which is a good thing.

If there is one defunct console or Sony franchise in need of a pc version DC is it

Jesus you are still debating over there stupid police station where no one even gets what this is about?😂

It should have been over when I told the guy thanks when he posted the F1 screen shot but for some reason there seems to be something else going on with my comment that was a mistake that I haven't owned up to.

Try disabling the camera shake. It might be passing as stuttering to your eyes.

Please do big fan of pgr

Yes sire!

Not dr guildo quality, but I tried.

PGR3/4 + Metropolis Street Racer remain in the GOAT category

I loved them all, they each hold a special place in my heart. It wasn't Halo that swayed me into the Xbox market, it was PGR. It was the only game I had for like 6 straight months and I was able to Gold every event.

PGR2 was also special cause it was during the time where Xbox live kicked off for me. PGR 2 and Halo 2 were my games of that generation.

Man, I miss that series.

GTS is moments from release and this thread is still neck deep in police building controversy.

We have hit a point that all racing games involved in the discussion (F1 2017, GTS, Forza 7, Horizon 3, Project Cars 2, etc.) look so good that some random building on one track is the focus of discussion/differentiator. Never mind that no one will notice the difference when racing by it.

Old GTS footage, it looks sooo static here, cam work is awful, the demo was much much better. Other than that, it really shows that PC2 needs to be talked about more in this thread. Cam work is the best, weather may not be the best but it's doing everything, graphics is among the best.

I'm just not a fan of how much the car bounces in chase cam.

I never use the chase cam but can't that be changed? In the cockpit view it's the best imo, it's doing so much extra stuff to help you get immersed. Driveclub is great too, can't wait to see ex-Evolution show their strength outside of the 30fps prison when moving to PC, DC still amazes me 3 years after the release.

yeah.. the helmet cam is a nice touch. GTS just needs a little bit of camera shake in cockpit view to add some immersion to the cockpit cam.

Seriously makes me want to invest in a Pro and PSVR just for this game. Must be so cool, and GTS in VR would fix it's biggest problem with the static cockpit camera too, every video I've seen do far when racing with PSVR looks amazing.
I'm guessing that your steering wheel is perfectly matched with the in-game steering wheel?

Dude, you've been quibbling over this police station for two days...
