Yeah, this is ASW & Bamco we're talking about, and I'm kinda expecting Broly as DLC for that reason. But given the amount of DBS content in the game already, I'd be shocked if we don't get at least a few DBS characters in the base roster (though nothing past the Future Trunks arc, obviously). Hell, we got a freakin' stage from DBS in DBFZ (from the Future Trunks arc no less). Beerus is basically a lock no matter what (given that most regard him as one of the best antagonists in the franchise & that his movie helped bring back Dragon Ball in a big way), but Hit & Black are also relatively safe bets.

For starters and among many others, he was the reason one of my favorite manga panels was drawn to begin with. And it's not even a specially good drawing or anything. It is what it is:

Other than Ginyu working well as a general Ginyu Force rep who could even summon the others, Nappa left a big impression on everyone. He curbstompted the whole Z Team and tanked all of their attacks (including two suicide attacks) like they were nothing, and the poor chaps were training for over a year to take him on.

Okay, so, this is a personal and somewhat complex web of nonsense involving a highly unstable individual I was friends and briefly FWBs with, but I can only assume there will be a never-ending clusterfuck on gaf now until the end of time, which inevitably involves you guys and gals on the mod team in some way, so I'm an open book here. The woman in question ended up being completely psychotic and held a grudge against me after a bizarre love triangle situation developed a few years ago between me, her, and another girl (the other girl I ended up in a long-term relationship with shortly thereafter). This NOLA story she apparently just put up on social media is a delusion of a deeply disturbed person who had a total psychological breakdown as a result of me and the other girl getting together, because she (phew, yeah...) became obsessively infatuated with the other girl (she's bi) on sight when the three of us met up. I wanted to just stay friends with the girl making the accusation and made it super super clear ahead of time that me and the other girl were interested in each other romantically and that could play out as such when we met up. Supposedly this was not a problem for her from accusation, but in reality she uhhh wanted me to die painfully after seeing me and the other girl interact. Plus she became infatuated with the other girl simultaneously to this (she's bi), which created the aforementioned bizarre love triangle that ended up causing her to implode and have an apparently very intense and long-lasting grudge. The whole story about how that love triangle thing played out is, frankly, nuts and scary, and involves this girl bringing us to a compound of dangerous scientology spinoff cultists on that same trip, who roofied us, attempted to recruit/scam me and attempted to abduct/rape the girl I ended up dating, in what was a fucking scary situation that resulted in me and the other girl and the rest of my friend circle never speaking to this girl from the accusation again.

Ginyu with Ginyu force is such a clearly great choice. Nappa was a big part of the best arc of the Z series, so he makes sense as well. Ginyu is going to have a ton to pull from if they incorporate the entire Ginyu Force.

Oh, if Broly doesn't make the base roster you're damn right they're going to exploit his rabid fanbase for some easy DLC money. I'm just saying that people need to temper their expectations, especially since this game will be out in 3 months.

I mean, 2 or 3 characters from Super shouldn't surprise anyone, but I didn't really expect a whole shit-ton of DBS characters.

I'd be genuinely shocked if we don't get at least Beerus on Day 1. And thanks to that Future Trunks arc stage, the likelihood of Hit & Black went up. Plus the Universe Survival arc alone has a ton of DLC material.

Where are the smart assess that predicted the entire roster, no one that is honest to yourself could ever predict Nappa.

It's always interesting to see what they do with the characters that die way early. I wonder if they'll add anything original to Nappa's moveset that already hasn't been done a bunch in Budokai.
