No really? I mean sony are the ones with the resources, From and bandai not necessarily no. If they can port SOTC from PS2 or Gravity rush from vita, or MS can backport titanfall to 360, i'm Sony can take the assets from PS3 Demons without an issue.
Its a souls game and the souls game to actually get the franchise started. I dont see what's not worth it about that. The fact that its stuck on PS3 only is one of the main reasons to remaster it with updated assets, dark souls is already on PC, and multiplatforms
Yeah, I take your point about Sony having more resources than Namco, but is a PC to PS4/X1 port really
that resource intensive? Regardless, I certainly see the value in porting Demon's Souls, of course, but I'm not sure Sony does. I mean, if they put Bluepoint on SOTC (
again), how much value can they see in Demon's (or any other PS3 exclusive they haven't already ported, really)? It just doesn't seem likely to me, although I would love for it to happen.
I mean, I can only speak for myself, but I've never wanted to put up with the hassles of PC gaming, even with full knowledge of all the benefits it provides. First, there's the hassle of having to build one yourself, since all pre-built PC's are garbage for gaming. Then there's all the random issues you can run into, from drivers not working to updates borking things, to random crashes, to games just not working for whatever reason. I already deal with so many issues on my current laptop (which is most certainly not gaming equipped, lol), and can only image the hassle/frustration of dealing with PC gaming on top of that. I tried to get into it years ago, quickly came to the conclusion it isn't for the me, and isn't the experience I want when gaming.
