Doom (Switch) Glitch?? (can't navigate menus)

So I put my Doom cart in the Switch today and have been having problems ever since.

I can't move left or right in the main menu screen, all I can choose is online play and campaign. It won't let me go online, says that I used up all my matchmaking time or something.

I can't choose arcade mode (which really sucks), and when I play my file on campaign I am unable to change any of the settings. It won't let me move thru them at all.

I noticed on the other site some people are having the same problems, wondering if anyone here is as well. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Yep, had this the other day. But I was already in a game and the audio glitched and went quiet, then when I went into the pause menu I couldn’t move up or down!?
Could only press A to resume.
A restart sorted it.

Just to add, random glitch aside, Doom is amazing on Switch! I’m loving it :)

Detach the joycons from whatever they are on and then put them back. Not sure about if your playing with a pro controller. Happened to me where the left joycon stopped responding and this only happened in DOOM.

This happens for me on Rocket League when using the Pro controller. I play it in handheld because it only seems to detect the pro controller.

Randomly works now and again.

I had this same issue during the final level of the campaign. I couldn't navigate menus with the D-Pad or analogue stick, only the triggers and confirm/cancel buttons would work. This was true up until I completed the game and watched the credits, even after closing and opening the game.

However, rebooting my Switch fixed it. Odd, I thought my save might have been borked.

Yeah, after rebooting my Switch the game has been fine. I think that's all you gotta do.

Well Doom keeps crashing everytime I load my last save which is awesome:

Just to say a fresh reboot solved this for me as well. Interestingly enough my son's played several different games off cart over the weekend since I last played Doom a week back, and the issue persisted since the last game I played. Hmm.

HAve you tried turning it off and turning it on again?

On my end the only glitch ive had so far in the game are sound glitches, there are some instances that while the music is playing some sound effects and gunfires becomes quiet.

Could be a ram limitation issue.
