The acessibility features of God of War (2018) will be also used on God of War: Ragnarok, extra details at PlayStation Blog about each feature

Santa Monica Studio details customizable subtitles, audio cues, high contrast mode, and more.

The prophecy of Ragnarök brings changes to all the Realms, and with that, we're excited to announce some new accessibility features that will be available in God of War Ragnarök.

Not only have we redesigned our UI to allow for more flexibility and readability, but we have also rebuilt controller remapping from the ground up and added more customization to our combat and interaction systems. We have retained all our accessibility features from 2018's God of War and expanded upon them to include more than 60 ways to adjust gameplay to best suit your style and needs.

Here's a selection of some new and notable features.

I've been saying delay for a while but this does actually point to it being on track. Guess we'll find out next month.
If there’s anything I’d define as ”finishing touches” it would be these features. I’d be surprised if they’d announce a 2023 date at this point. My personal guess is September/October this year, announced next showcase in June with a longer gameplay segment in August/September as part of a State of Play.

I want to believe this news points towards 2022 release. But the blog post didn’t seem to mention any dates except for the 2018 game. So Im still anticipating 2022, but this doesn’t make me more confident.

From a trusted source, Jim Ryan has been moved underground for safety due to his decision to launch on 11-11-22, Phil Is not happy, and has allegedly dispatched an elite group of commandos to arrest Jim and seize control of SIE and all subsidiaries.

I don't even have my PS5 anymore but I would be lying if I said that my heart didn't jump out of my chest for a sec when I saw the video pop out on youtube.

Happy to see they'll allow you to increase text sizes beyond the subtitle ones.

For us who have the sofa a bit far from the tv and not a giant display was needed in games like the previous GoW.

Also nice to see it continues to be a 2022 game.

Nah, what Sony will release 11/11/22 will be their next PC port: Knack.

Lol, seriously, why? All signs point to 2022, yet you will be surprised.
I'll rather be surprised than disappointed, I'll rather keep expectations in check lol. I want it this year, just not thinking about it or expecting it. I also don't know what 'all signs' are

closer to launch could be next week or in 6 months

that means nothing
It's World Accessibility Day. So maybe the timing of doing this just before they announce a release date and a State of Play (which I am still guessing will happen next month)

They did the same around the time for Ghost of Tsushima, and they also released TLoU2, HFW, Ghost, etc, no more than 2 months or so after these blogs/videos.

If that’s “all” they have to show for now it means the game is probably already properly developed. Why would they showcase accessibility features if it was not the case?
