Find Mii II is insanely improved. I'm probably going to blow all 300 of my coins tonight on it. Everyone needs to try it out to see what I mean.
I like that the new puzzles are going to be even harder to complete.
EDIT: There are branching paths in Find Mii II. I don't why I'm excited, but my god it's amazing.

Going at a pretty decent speed on my end (Ontario, Canada), At the 75% mark and its been about 3 minutes...unless that's slow by today's standards, and I didn't know that.

You can now activate spotpass for the streetpass mii plaza. The message that pops up when you start it for the first time after the update makes it sound like you can now populate your plaza with miis through the Internet. Maybe you get someone's mii if you play online with them or something? If that's true, then that's a great way to get around the problem of other countries not being as densely populated as Japan.
Also, there are now pink puzzle pieces that you cannot get with play coins.

Also, does the plaza keep people you met from say Mario Kart 7 online? Didn't know that (if true)

Can anyone happen to confirm that with this update, you can transfer AMBASSADOR games from an older launch 3DS to a newer system?
I'm considering buying a Zelda LE 3DS this week, but want to be certain I can transfer my Ambassador games. Furthermore, how will I be able to download the future GBA games on the newer system?

if they are in a community game i don't think you can join them. you can't from inside mk7, at least.

Nintendo Zone is their SpotPass advertising app; Best Buy has had it in place since the summer and it's mostly promotional material.
Out of curiosity, is the item lit up or anything when folks are playing MK7? I would assume it doesn't prompt you to join unless you've played a game at least once...
The Friend List icon on the HOME screen gets a little yellow (?) dot if a friend is currently available for you to join.

It also puts a little yellow light on the friends list icon when a friend is joinable, that makes it nice!

You only get the option when they've not yet started a race or when they're waiting in a community lobby. As of the super Mario 3D land firmware update, this does work..I have MK7 yet I can't join game.
Yes you can. I had a friend join the GAF community while I was playing via the Friend List and he never added the GAF community.
EDIT: As mentioned above, they have to be in the lobby for you to join in.

The only things that seemed to be changed is in the menu there's a download code bit and something about storing credit cards, haven't tried downloading anything yet so no idea if that's been improved
