Everything else works fine, up to a Bethesda standard. I suppose that needs further explanation; the game will crash every now and again and saving often is still recommended due to bugs. These are potentially quest breaking, personally I had to deal with one and by deal with it I mean I reloaded to a save half an hour earlier...
i agree. as with fo3 goty, & fo:nv, i got 100+ hours out of the game.
but, that's only because i played all 3 games within the confines of the 'bethesda standard': i defragged the hd before installing. i turned off auto-saving. i played in limited sessions. i moved about the game world slowly, particularly after fast traveling, to allow for loading. not to mention, i passed on all kinds of stuff, such as, i never used magic, & i didn't unlock the dragons until towards the end, when i was ready to complete the main quest & call it a day...
But these problems aren't limited to Skyrim or a particular platform or even this gen of hardware, they've been around for as long as I can remember...
i disagree. there're imperfect games, & then there's the 'bethesda standard'. there're no other games i've played this gen that i've had to accommodate for in any way, shape, or form similar to the way i've had to accommodate for bethesda games. none. yes, they're fun. but only if you're willing to accommodate for the 'bethesda standard' - that, & if you're just plain lucky
...
attempting to compare the inherent problems with these games to any others is nonsense. the 'bethesda standard', as it's existed on the ps3 this gen, is in a zone of it's own...
