EA and Bioware plant DLC into figurines for Mass Effect 3

Certain ME3 fans are going to go mental over the shirtless Kaidan scenes. Him lying there... Just waiting for action... #ME3

Sorry bit off-topic but it made me lol.

They're making sure they have all of their bases covered, so now they're including a romance for your guns. When you walk into the munitions part of the ship they'll be laying there... just waiting for action...

Nothing like Skylanders and some seem to be making a bigger deal out of it. :p

Unlike Skylanders, were you still need the figure to play the game (and it is used as a memory card too), the case of Mass Effect 3 seems that is just a code inside the packaging. Like for years, publishers has been doing by including unlockable weapons, content, etc./DLC on strategy guides, controllers, Slurpees, etc.

EA, Microsoft and Sony were the ones that started doing that, not Activision.

I seriously hope I can fuck the space ship. But only after 20 hours of sweet talking it and telling it how good it is at scanning planets.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
I have to go 360 because I prefer ME with a joypad (gasp) but I think I'm waiting for a sale as well.

Huh? You can use 360 pads on PC... both wired and wireless.

Im gonna just play whats comes on the disc. This is the new attitude everyone really needs to start taking to show these publishers to stop going overboard with this dlc bullshit. Fuck the full expierence, whatever is on disc is my full expierence.

Mass Effect has always been a rip off of the catalogue of Toys for Bob anyway. Bobby Kotick showing his superior business sense once again by picking Toys for Bob instead of over paying for Bioware.

Can we just get this over with? Let's just get EA and Bioware to sell ME3 as multiple bundles of things. We can cut the main game up into 12 pieces, one for each month of the year. You can get a month-to-month, quarterly, or full year subscription to receive new content and chapters of the game, paired with a fruit of the month and porcelain horse figurine.

Little by little, you'll eventually come to own what amounts to essentially the full game, but watch out for the special seasonal offers for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's day.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it's multiplayer junk, but this is freaking stupid.

This is actually a good idea, I love the idea of "physical" DLC. You're all kidding yourselves if you think the DLC would be in the game if they didn't plan on selling it separately.

It is hard enough for me to not get spoiled in any way (already read 2 things I absolutely didn't want to know) but how should I keep track of all this DLC crap so I don't miss anything? Guess, I won't have all ME3 DLC then. It was hard enough to trade for all the ME2 pre-order staff back then but this is a whole other level of...

The only decent DLC will be the Collector's Edition weapons, and the armor and assault rifle for pre-ordering at Gamestop.

All the rest, all this, just pure multiplayer bullshit.

Bioware couldnt rip off Star Control 2 well and they wont be able to rip off Skylanders properly either.

I was going to get the Art of Mass Effect book already, but what's stupid is that that MP DLC is pre-order at BN.com only, and I'm not in the US, so yeah.

I'd understand if they're going to put DLC with the book, at least make it for ANYONE getting the book.

At least it's not campaign DLC.

Come on, EA. There's no way I can not buy this game more. You've already given me more than enough reasons. You don't need to ruin it for people who would actually buy your game too.

But what about the robotic dog?

I'm laughing so much at this haha.

The real question here is if Bioware were to release DLC targeted towards fleshing out even more romance options/lengthening current romance paths, would you buy it?
