Well from what I can tell, PikminLink is one of the most world famous Link cosplayer too.

Yeah.

Funny story I went to their house this past Halloween(she didn't dress like Link, but still looked cute) and on the way home i took the bus with a couple of other guests. One chick was estactic that she met her, and couldn't shut up about it all the way back home. I never really understood how famous she was until that night, despite knowing she has so much "official" Nintendo stuff and is invited to many Nintendo parties and media events .

The infamous 'fat Tifa' cosplay that pops up on t'interweb a lot just makes me cringe (no links, no pain).

Out of curiosity, what cosplay would Gaf deem suitable for those who aren't a size 0 and can't really pull off skin-tight or too revealing material?

Super Mario, Wario, Bowser, Yoshi, Obelix, fat princess,... there are a lot of characters who aren't super thin. But I agree it's difficult to find a female character that's actually fun to play and isn't super thin or fit. That is, if by "not size 0" you actually mean "a bit overweight" and not "good figure, just not inredibly toned / thin", in this case there are several character (female, too, for example Peach and Zelda) who wear a lot of clothes and therefore are easily to be cosplayed even if you don't match their figure. I don't think it's bad if heavier persons cosplay as thin persons, but of course it looks a bit strange if someone who is a bit overweight cosplays as a character who is meant to be really thin. Especially considering the revealing clothes most developers choose for their super-thin female heros.

Cait Siths Moogle or Quina...perhaps Fat Chocobo?

Vote for Danielle instead! She actually played Killer 7 and No More Heroes!

I will definitely give you that she delivered better lines, but in the context of the contest I still think Jessica's a better choice, mainly because of her cosplay background (although granted I know nothing of Danielle and she may have an even more extensive background).

While it's awesome that Danielle played other Suda 51 classics, it's not like the job of Juliet requires prior knowledge of his other games.

Also, Jessica's got that killer chainsaw.

Even if it's just an unofficial/fan effort, I think it looks great.

And never forget non gendered people ... like pokemons, mario enemies, mechas and other stuff ...half of the smash bros cast would fit !

From pikachu to that metroid robot

Weird story. This Link is a chick named PikminLink and is engaged to a friend of mine.

Yeah...

Me: "Wow an actual Link cosplay where the guy looks cute and dreamy as opposed to tragic."

Reads your post

Still think she makes a cute guy. Never been so confused. Probably the closest I've come to being a straight guy.
