This is lame. They really should have included a workbench somewhere. Casters are carrying too many weapons. I would probably even dump the SMG and Pistol as a soldier. Abilities take too long to recharge.
I get the feeling full-game insanity is going to be a lot easier.
You can tell a lot was cut out (in the demo) from the Sur'Kesh segment. Randomly land on planet to be greeted by Salarians and all of a sudden we're protecting Eve.
Looking for any excuse to hate BioWare, I see!
2. The face editor is hilarious. First, my ME2 import looks nothing alike. The hair colors and eye colors are great for Japanese anime chars tees too. Hah. No ME2 face codes seem to be applicable in ME3. All faces will need to be amended. Not sure why Bioware overhauled the whole thing. All ME2 needed was more options.
Demo is downloading now, 25%...
I am really conflicted on if I should play this or not. I have not watched any of the trailers since last E3, I know I am going to love the game no matter what, so I dont really want to spoil it. On the other hand, I dont think I can resist....
How long is the demo?
I did enjoy the way in which he was incorporated into the opening shots. I couldn't even tell the vehicle was a toy until the camera pulled back. Had me completely fooled.Well, it's like, you see only a few real civilians in the entire FUTURECITY. You'd figure there would be a ton of people since millions are dying or something. But you only see like one kid in a piece that's so obviously manipulative and...dumb. I dunno.
The game is fine itself. But I would figure you'd see more people.
Up for grabs:
Really impressed with the Kinect features! Makes my Kinect almost worth it.
The best way to get an understanding on Adept is just to concentrate on Liara. She only carries two weapons. When specced for recharge rate she can cast incredibly fast.Agreed, loved charging all the Batarian husk things like a mad man during the start of the demo, but a vanguard is rather gimped with the super long cooldown in the Sur'kesh part of the demo. Not sure I want to try playing as an adept in the demo due to this.
ME3 servers aren't up yet. Won't be up 'til the 14th, and only those that have redeemed BF3's online pass will be able to take advantage of it until the 17th.Is anyone else unable to connect to the Alliance Network or whatever it's called (the thing you need to sign in to with an EA account)? Can't play multiplayer without it...

Femshep sounds less bored in ME3. I think the VO in general is a step up.
Normandy code up for grabs:
K6WXH-RPCHR-MJDGV-HTCHJ-CDHDZ
One addition I don't like to the gameplay is the grenades. They force you to get out of cover and get back in, and with taking cover being so difficult, it's really annoying.
I played through the first section of the demo, but I don't want to go too much further for fear of spoilers. Overall it plays really well and the combat feels good. I will put some time into the multiplayer side of the demo, but save any other single player for the full game.
Graphics looks nice, except for the water which is OMG bad up close.
Please?First person to quote me gets a Normandy avatar item.
Thanks, but that's not working for me either. The decoder screen comes up, but it's blank. I'm in the US, I wondr if that makes a difference.
Please?
Here is a pretty good playthrough of Sur'Kesh on Insanity with a Sentinal. Very methodical, great tactics on both side. I love the use of smoke grenades by the Cerberus agents to cover their tracks and screw the player over, as well as their flanking tactics. Their health and shields/armor bonuses also dont seem too outrageous which was often the case in ME2 where everyone had max health, armor and shields.
Part 1
Part 2
Thanks a lot.
Can anybody just use the code?
