Is it just me or does GTA3 feel and look a lot better than Chinatown Wars?

No, it's just you. CW is clearly the superior game. Better controls, much better visuals, more modern gameplay tweaks. It's better all over. GTA3 was fun, but CW is a game I've played twice now because I like it so much. GTA3 got the second play for nostalgia alone but at times it was like pulling teeth...

Quick OT question: Does anyone know how to activate Tweetmarker in Tweetbot? I've gone through the settings but I can't seem to find it.

1) Tap the Accounts thing in the top left corner.
2) Tap "Accounts and Settings".
3) Tap "Settings" at the bottom.

5) Tap on "Sync".

Games will look WAY better. The jump to retina on iPhone was huge.

And the battery life won't be worse, Apple won't let it go below 10 hours. Not a chance. It didn't get worse on iPhone when it went retina.

Phoenix HD is a beautiful shooter. Solid gameplay. Dig the bullet patterns. Not a fan of how they nickel and dime everything. You have to pay to unlock leaderboards? That's whorish.

Controls aren't great. The graphic are low-res, but the graphics aren't very good in that game to begin with.

It's a worthwhile buy, overall. The more difficult missions have you wrestling with the controls a bit.

It's amazing how quickly that novelty wears off. Took me less than five minutes, I think.

If you have an iPad 2 or are planning on getting an iPad 3, you should definitely buy GTA3 this weekend for 99 cents. It plays great on iPad 2 and it will only be better on iPad 3.

The controls are just fine on the larger screen more spread out.

Price the game accordingly. Don't list it as "free" if it's not really free. What you get free is a taste. If you are going to invest any real time into the game, it's going to cost you close to what a Cave shmup would cost. I don't care for that kind of bait-and-switch bullshit. Basically, don't put your hand on my crotch and then tell me it'll cost me $50 for head. If it was listed as a Lite version, that would change my perception of the product. I happen to feel that perception matters.

Well there's an official Xbox Live app that lets you check your friends list, change your avatars, message friends and even compare achievements.

For achievement guides and stuff...I'm still trying to find a good one.

I am enjoying League of Evil 2, Pizza. vs. Skeletons, and Beat Sneak Bandit immensely. All three will be getting positive reviews on IGN. One of the three, unless something changes late in the game, will be VERY positive.

GTA III is surprisingly great, especially the driving. I actually think it looks better than the PS2 version.

Combat is a bit more divisive. I haven't had much trouble with it, but I've seen people saying they don't like the way it controls. Worth in the end I think. Looks and sounds great.

Chinatown Wars also seems pretty good, though I haven't played it that much yet and it doesn't look as good as GTA III.
