And if people ever ask why I despise almost every UK fan, there's your answer. I really do hope one of these individuals tries to say something to me when in Louisville clothes come NCAA Tourney time and they're playing up here, they'll be dropped on their ass real quick. Racist mother fuckers.

So...what about us GAF UK fans? lol

I'm in a Facebook argument with Michigan people on Facebook (they're law school friends of my college roommate). They're now bragging that they're better than us in both football and basketball (though they seem to have forgotten the first basketball matchup in C-Bus).

Michigan fan: As Wisconsin showed Mich. St., the last game counts more. But don't worry. Ohio still has... those tattoos, and those last forever!

Me: Tattoos do indeed last forever. Ed Martin's $600,000, however, did not.

Evidence seems to show that Cooper knew and ignored the problem. There's no evidence Fisher was aware of what Martin was doing (I wouldn't be surprised if Perry Watson knew, but it's never come out). Both schools have issues, but that's not your strongest argument.

I can't believe I didn't see it in here already, especially with the complaining about refs a couple pages back and this referee, in particular.

Karl Hess threw out 2 former players sitting in the stands at the NC State-FSU game today.

NC State legends Chris Corchiani and Tom Gugliotta got tossed.

The ACC backed up their refs. State fans are beyond livid, and so is the AD.

Don't be shocked if something goes down hard this Tuesday on ESPN. It's getting to the point where State fans are getting the same feeling A&M fans had about the Big 12.

I'm assuming you mean Tressel, not Cooper.

But you're missing the point entirely. No major college athletic program is squeaky clean. So when some Michigan fan starts using Tattoo-gate to taunt me, you bet your ass I'm going to invoke Ed Martin.

And please, don't pretend that a very small number of Michigan players collectively received $613,000 and nobody at U-M had any clue whatsoever.

Well, the West End is ghetto to be fair.

It may not be the nicest place to live, but it boils down to a bunch of UK fans saw black U of L fans in the stands on TV and the first things they could take shots at is saying shit about them being arrested, on drugs, on welfare, or whatever else. Shit like that makes my blood boil, and not only that, no one calls out the people saying that shit in the thread, nor do the moderators - which ban people like its a bodily function there - do anything about the thread. I have no problem calling out any U of L fan, or so called fan, that acts like a fucking moron saying something completely uncalled for like that. I do it on a semi-regular basis with some of the shitheads that do nothing but talk shit about our players on these boards.

It's just that shit that really pisses me off. Maybe not everyone does it, but it's enough to piss me off. I don't understand why it's always the racial shots either, always something to do with race in a way, be it a player who does well for us who is black being called a thug despite not doing anything to warrant it (Terrance Williams for 4 years), or thinly veiled racist shots at fans.

UK should consider themselves lucky most recruits and players are oblivious of this. I'm sure they would love to hear some of TCP's finest opinions on what they think of inner city players for all different types of areas that were brought up in places just like West Louisville. I can guarantee there would be more than a few current and past players that wouldn't want to have a damn thing to do with these "fans" on any sort of level if they knew how they really were.

PS - One or two have since called out a few of these retards in the thread, glad to see it.

This is unrelated to current discussion, but I'm glad for LSU's easy backend SEC schedule.

We may be able to sneak into a first round bye for the SEC tourny (tied for 4th with like 4 other teams).

We punished ourselves as much as possible for that by hiring Brian Ellerbee.

Looks like the first shot is being fired in ACCgate.

State Tuesday is honoring their 88-89 team, of which Corchiani and Gugliotta are huge stars.

Hopefully they get an open mic.

purdue up 3 on mich st at the half, and syracuse struggling against horrible rutgers - they're up 6 at the half, but there have been like 8 lead changes and 6 ties in that first half.

rutgers will probably putter out and 'cuse will roll. mich st will probably eek out the W and take the solid lead in Big10 play.

Hold me Illini fans. Neither of our teams is making the NCAA's or even the NIT for that matter.

Yeah, but I see that as a positive. Just cements Weber being gone. This is like 2 years overdue. I didn't want the Illini to even make the NIT that one year and I was hoping they would just get "snubbed" last year to hasten Weber's departure. Looks like this year I'll finally get my wish...

Oh cool Pitt is on tonight, 1 game less to NIT!

Just get it all out.

This amazing gif popped up on Phog.

In all seriousness, I think flopping is getting a bit out of hand. Maybe I think it is worse because my team has been affected more this year in crucial moments. But I do wonder if the charge circle has worked out for the best.

ROFL.

Ryan Kelly and Tyler Zeller should be included in that gif.

I hate this team for so many reason that I can't even begin to start somewhere. Fuck it, I hope we dont go to any tourneys this year. This piece of fucking shit team doesn't deserve a invite to neighborhood weekend games let alone a NIT, CIB, whateverthefuck.com tourney for average mid majors and whatever else tourney that is out there.

It didn't just start this season but yes charging has become more and more a part of the game at the collegiate level. To clarify, I mean sliding under guys or moving at the last minute charging calls that should really be blocking. I think it's true of offensive screen setting though as well.

I don't understand the charge circle complaint though but perhaps I'm misguided. The charge circle simply means a player cannot receive a charge if the defensive player is standing within the circle. To me, that makes sense. Being inside the circle isn't an instant blocking penalty. You are free to stand your ground.

The reason I brought up the circle is that refs may focusing too much on the location of the feet of the defender. It seems that any contact outside the circle has become nearly an automatic charge.

nothing hard is going down.

suddenly yall are honoring the 89 team (Corch & Gugz) tho. that's about it.

i'd shit myself laughing at State fans if they actually left the ACC.

Damn, didn't see IU lost to Iowa. They really are average on the road.

Uncalled for. I hope you feel better about furthering the classism.

I attend UofL and have done community work for classes in the Portland and Shawnee areas. That area isn't bad right around campus but I wouldn't want to be in the previously mentioned areas at night. I'm not trying to sound elitist and I know that there are good people that live there but it's just a really rough area to be in with most of the issues being caused by poverty, obviously.

TV Teddy is going to ref the UK @ Miss St game tonight.

#1 team, on the road, in a hostile environment, in the 9pm Super Tuesday slot on ESPN? Yeah, we can expect at least one big showboating call on his part tonight.

You know there is an issue when a refs name is a household name even to the casual fan.
