Damnit, my roomates got me playing this. In Act 3 right now of Shizune's route. Apparently she's the least like one on the internet? I think she's hilarious. Really don't want to get a bad end, though. Haha

Shizune is my favorite character conceptually, but her writing is my least liked

Whelp, I didn't read the comments. Color me embarrassed. Thinking about it, the neutral ending does make more sense,
seeing how Hanako goes to a god damn asylum after Hisao's heart-attack. Good ending Hanako would probably be strong enough.

You made me change my avatar. I had it first, I think. But I'm new here so maybe you had it first. Or maybe somebody else here had it before you and me.
I wouldn't say Shizune herself is the least liked character. Just her story. It feels like a bunch or random events that take place during the school year instead of a straight cohesive story. She also doesn't get much character development until the final act. That could have easily been remedied if part of a scene from Act 4 was moved to Act 2.
I like all the girls, but would rank (as characters) them like:
Rin = Shizune > Hanako > Lilly > Emi
its impossible to accidently bad end shizune.

I literally changed my avatar a couple of minutes after making that post, so you probably had yours first.
Reading yours and others impressions, I gathering that the rest of the paths are completely different. I get a kind of slice-of-life sort of vibe from her path, so I can see why that would turn a lot of folks off. I think I'll try Hanako's path next, and see what all the fuss is.
That's relieves more than it should, haha.

If it means hanging out with Shizune and Misha? Hell yeah.
If this makes sense to you comparing this game to the last two Persona games: Shizune's path felt like the main plot segments while the other girls feel like more personal social links. At least that's how it felt to me.
I'd join the student council if I got to hang out with girls like Misha and Shizune all the time. It's not like it would've prevented me from any of the other clubs. Especially with apparently how little work there was to do.
