I haven't played ME3 and I clicked anyway. problem?
i dont think the op of the ot realised how right he was when he said space jesus.
....That's basically the ending to Xenosaga. How original. LOL
So... about the ending... I had this realization as I saw all the Mass Relays get destroyed. Without them, theres no way to jump from one star system to another right? Doesn't that mean that after the final battle on earth, all the battleships and soldiers from the races that Shepard recruited are forever stuck in the Milky Way system? never to return to their home world?
Is that one ending all the endings?
Someone spoil the ending. I don't give a shit.

I get the feeling this will be this generation's DOOM: Reapercussions of Evil.
I'm not sure how many endings there are, I haven't replayed the last chapter to explore the other outcomes, but from the decisions you get, there may be 3 endings.
1 - You let the illusive man do his thing and try to control the reapers
2 - You become a reaper and control them yourself, ending the cycle and destroying all reaper tech - citadel, crucibel & mass relays.
3 - You use the citadel + crucibel to destroy all synthetic life forms including yourself.
I've only tried option #2

And this isn't even touching the corny grandpa and kid talking about THE SHEPARD at the end. Ugh....
This is what I don't understand. What is even at stake? The reapers are giant cyborgs designed to... stop cyborgs from killing organics? It's inevitable that organics will create cyborgs and the cyborgs will get mad and kill them all?
Yeah, that really worked out for the Geth in Mass Effect 1, 2, and the middle of 3.
Let say I hated the story in ME2 because it was fairly stupid (Jesus Shepard, working with Cerberus, BABY REAPER). Am I going to like the story in this one?

Nope, it's even worse.
To be fair, it's a different author this time around.Nope, it's even worse.
Well it's disappointing if the story is actually worse than ME2. I do have hope that the subplots and decisions will be interesting though.

Fucking grandpa ruined the whole thing.
You're wrong about the 1st one. The last ending is called "Synthesis" and it consists of The Guardian giving you a third option: merging synthetic life with organic life. In this ending, Shepard sacrifices himself/herself to inititate the process. The rest of the ending goes as any other: Mass Relays get destroyed, The crew of the Normandy gets stranded on some backwater planet. The only difference is that once the crew emerges from the Normandy, their eyes glow signifying that the merge has occured. This is probably what Bioware consideres as the "best" ending lololololol
What pisses is the most about all of the endings is that they always occur and you have no choice in the matter. What's worse, the same goddamn thing can be said about the whole goddamn game: none of your choice really matter. It's all gonna play out like Bioware wanted it to and you have little say in the matter. Choice, my ass.
my sweet~
LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE TIME WHEN I HAD SEX WITH A BLUE ALIEN.
Lots of sex, swearing and gore involved in this dear old grandpa's story, right?
Bad story, absolutely horrific endings and zero player influence on the course of the story. BSN going into meltdown and for once I agree.
Guys, what about the most important thing about ME3, do they finally show bird girls face?
What do you guys mean by your choices don't matter? No matter what you choose the outcome is the same?
