Another HD Collection that I'll buy (mostly because I haven't played any of the PS2 Ratchet Clank), sometime down the road, with the ones of Ico, Jak & Daxter, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider and DMC.

Basically, the only reason I still have my PS3 is for those remakes. Those and GTA V.

Dark Cloud Collection (Cloud + Chronicles) Two of the best RPG's last gen. And hell they can add Rogue Galaxy in there too to make a Level5 collection.

Nobody kill me but...I've only ever played the first Ratchet & Clank.
Time to buy this and play catch up!

The sequels aren't nearly as good as the original imo, they felt like they spent all of their time coming up with zany weapons to throw into the game and barely any time on the actual level design. If the weapons are the main draw for you then you might like them more, though.

I wasn't a fan and I love the Ratchet games. I never even finished ACiT. There were just some things I really wasn't feeling, like the time puzzles.

I'm disappointed that it doesn't come with Deadlocked too. I kind of loved that game, even with all its flaws.

Also, I won't buy it if it is the same as J&D HD quality-wise. Sub HD, cropped out widescreen (doesn't care if the original was like that. Cropped out WS is fucking lazy) and lack of graphic arts and effects.

I usually wait for a price drop on these collections but including the online multiplayer makes this a day 1 pickup.

Too bad they didn't include Deadlocked/Gladiator. My brother had Gladiator but I never got around to playing it.

Just play the arena modes in Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal, Deadlocked is just an extended version of them but w/ added co-op. Still, odd that they left it out.

Did you ever watch the official preview for the Jak & Daxter Collection? Apparently those titles were a coder's nightmare, especially for a team other than the original developers--maybe you should just be glad the collection was ever released. Why do you say that? Ratchet & Clank was easily as tailored to the PS2 as the Jak series and Insomniac and Naughty Dog shared technology back and forth in that era. There's a reason why there were billboards with Ratchet and Clank in Jak 2.

I've always wanted R&C multiplayer to come back. I was really hoping All4One would bring back the competitive mode (would have made it a much more attractive package and maybe helped it to not bomb), but this is good for now. R&C multiplayer is awesome fun.

And yeah, Deadlocked + Size Matters + Secret Agent Clank would be a great 2nd volume.
