Incomplete. Got hit with a bit of unexpected pressure. I'll have the few shows that I'm missing up as soon as I finish uploading these banners. Almost done.

Alright, that's good then.

Milky Holmes 6

*random vomiting noise of adoration*
Ah, the ol' switcheroo with person sharing uncanny physical familiarity plot.
Yup, it's the Milky Holmes version of The Prince and the Pauper! :)

I Lol'd
I really need to stop getting lazy when it comes to glorious potential gif creation.

Cute episode on
following and striving your dreams without chickening out of your reality
. Hoping the next one brings more Twenty. (Requesting for moar Twenty?! What's wrong with me?!)
At first this episode seemed like an excuse for some of the series' more blatant fanservice (like that costume and tail Sherlock wears...), but that ending
who the prince confesses to, of course I mean
... I mentioned it before, but yeah, it was hilarious and really made the episode. It's good stuff, and the message is actually decent too.

Milky Holmes 8

The girls have a cold! Oh noes!
Gah... Twenty is so messed up, and yet... yeah, he is funny for sure.

Kokoro, on the other hand, is funny for reasons much more like Milky Holmes -- her cute idiocy. That IQ of hers -- keep listening to the numbers she gives as the series progresses... :lol :lol

Also, as a police officer, I'd think she'd have returned that valuable historical relic (that mask) by now... but no, she keeps it.
Still has it, too.

Resplendence Berserk! = Wonderland?
Erm...can't argue with that, I guess, heh

The deliberately abrupt scene transitions from Three Card to the plot are still entertaining!
Henrietta's
Boing-Boing Missile.
O_O Well...you can't make this stuff up, folks!

Overall, nice episode with a few random elements mixed in for "Wonderland". Twenty was still great, Kokoro still delightfully conniving and Sherlock still lovably stupid!
That's the episode where they go into that alternate world, or dream, or whatever, right? That was a kind of weird one, I think...

As a follow up to my Brave 10 suffer-a-thon, I'm officially challenging everyone in the thread to follow Sengoku Collection with me. I want to see how many of us make it to the end.
you're disqualified if you're already watching it just because it's Brains Base

I accept! My love for the genderbent Sengoku genre knows no bounds!

Anyway, I'll be watching at least the first episode of practically everything in spring, so I won't even bother listing them.

The 2nd PV will have been a pretty good troll if it is indeed slice of life. At the very least it seemed to be implying that the show is not just a Iroha+Tamayura ripoff.

It's Sunrise, so I'm cautious to say the least... but yeah, what exactly is it going to be?

So everyone has commented on the merits (or lack thereof) of AKB0048's designs before, but damn.

I'm pretty sure it's exactly an Iroha+Tamayura rip off except with worse art and a more boring setting. There's nothing in the PV that suggests otherwise. Teenage girls play around with "magic" all the time. It's probably just Secret Base minus the ghost girl, and with more implied yuri.

So they left out like the entire war, and it wasn't bad at all. Really?

They didn't leave the war out at all though? Specific battles, maybe. But they covered most from what I saw.

And, hey, I'm not saying it's AMAZING. I'm saying that I didn't find it 'bad,' and enjoyed it quite a bit while watching.

Me and Dresden will make a blood pact. We'll watch every last episode of this anime together.

Haha, poor Dres.

Oh God, I'm tempted to make an AKB0048 teams post now just because you guys are forcing each other to watch it.
I'm still not gonna watch that shit.

Boring. I've watched the first 2 seasons of Ikkitousen, and the first season of Koihime Musou. The 2nd season of Ikki with the faux serious actually wasn't completely terrible.

Yet another incredible episode from Glass Fleet.
You'd think they'd run a background check before they hire someone to work at a royal palace.

Maturity, bitches.
Maybe they will shock us and treat us to something like gospel rather than a bubbly JPop hit that everyone is expecting.

We don't give a FUCK about AKB48. This is a manly blood pact challenge akin to Survivor and Battle Royale. Good men are going to die along the way, but whoever comes out at the end will be stronger than he ever was before.

The biggest problem I'm seeing with Sakamichi no Apollon is that it looks like a slice of life anime.
It pretty much is going be in that vein though.:) but I assume it won't be full-on slice-of-life since it will probably have a plot.:p

Man, you guys don't even know how hyped I am to just see/hear Apollon's OP/ED. "Tank" and "Battle Cry" were amazing, as were the visuals that accompanied. "The Real Folk Blues" and "Shiki no Uta," however, were on another level altogether. "The Real Folk Blues" was an amazing track, but the scrolling credits in the middle always detracted from the apt artwork, imo, and hugely so. Shiki no Uta, on the other hand, had no such issue and was as perfectly scripted as the track was produced.

One more time with me

Maybe the tone shift in the last 20-30 seconds is throwing me for a loop. We'll see!

God damn it, at some point before Apollon starts I need to get around to watching Samurai Champloo. I'm so damn lazy; bought the BD back in December and still haven't watched it.

Haha, you've probably heard me say it a million times, but it's my favorite series ever. To me, it's the perfect example of narratological depth, without at all sacrificing accessibility. For example (cont in the reply to Noirulus):

I'm drowning in pleasure, and it feels soooo gooood.

Have you ever noticed that the whole ED is Fuu reminiscing? It may be easy to notice that, but it goes deeper: contrast her gaze out at the beginning of the ED to the downtrodden demeanor at the end--just before it fades out--then think of her attitude throughout the series towards, and eventual conclusion with [MAJOR END SPOILERS]:
her father. She wasn't at all mad at him by time they got to him, though she claimed, for just about the whole series, that she hated him for leaving. And her turn-around wasn't at all just because she learned that he was protecting her mother and her.
Rather than a bunch of nonsense, the ED was used to extend the narrative, and with a tactfulness I've rarely seen in anything. She was incredibly conflicted from the very beginning! Those touches, they're the reason I love that series so much.

I'm getting caught up, holy shit.
