Seems interesting, but I think most people who run have a dedicated app for it, and stacking them is in convenient and can really kill your battery.

Yeah, seems kinda pointless to me and plus it's 200+ MB. I'm intrigued to try it out but maybe at 99 cents

I was browsing through the App Store and saw Chaos Rings, read the reviews and people complained that they added 400MB to the app via a free update that added japanese voices and rated 1 star. Decided that I HATE the majority of people that game on iOS.

Seriously, I'd take the racist homophobes on COD over the idiots complaining about Japanese voice acting on iOS. One a-hole even wrote "most of us play with the sound off anyway." Never wanted to murder anyone more in my life.

Umm, that sounds like a valid complaint to me. I wouldn't care about Japanese voices, so having 400mb of useless data forced on me sounds crappy.

I take file size into account. Example: Adventures of Tin Tin was on sale for 99 cents at some point, but the game is almost 1 GB. I'm not wasting 1 GB for a single game like that

Really liking Nightfall. Much more player interaction than other DBGs. As Astronomer said though, it is slightly more complex. piratepwnsninja if anyone wishes to play.

here's how the endscreen after finishing a multiplayer match in Nosferatu - Run from the Sun looks like:

note that there are 6 more characters included with the new update, so over time, there sjould be a nice variety of Nosferatus dancing their success dance! :)

Kids vs Goblins has been resubmitted and will soon be available for $1. In the meantime here is a free code:

I guess LostWinds is just the first one. Has LostWinds 2 been announced for iOS?
Not yet. Wish they'd at least confirm the sequel will come too (as likely as it is), not interested in getting only the first one on iOS since I played it on WiiWare back in 2008.

Yeah, its taken me a few games to kinda figure it out. Its starting to get really good though, It might work its way up beside Carcassone and Ascension as one of the best. We will see!

Just snagged it. Seems pretty intense. Really hate tutorials in games like these, only for the fact I'm a dunce when it comes to card games that aren't your average CCGs...and when they start throwing around chaining terminologies and such, I get a bit lost.

Yeah, Its best to go through the tutorial, play a game, and then hit the tutorial again. Gives you a little more background to what they are talking about.

Im not really a fan of the setting in Nightfall, but at least the art is good, I dont know how something like Ascension gets made into something physical. Fucking horribad, elementary doodles. Luckily for them Ascension is a fun game.

A sequel is teased at the end of the iOS version.

Congratulations, you really deserve it!
Now that ive got a new ipad i can finally play Roboto. Bought it ages ago but never played it properly cause it ran like crap on ipod. Its not bad. A lot more fun than Paper Monsters anyway

Yeah, I'm in the same situation. I think I'll wait it out, not like it'll never go on sale again (jinxing it).

I feel exactly the same way about Ascension, man. Hideous card art, and for card games, it does make a dint in the experience somewhat.

I'll follow your advice and follow your lead. Might help just feeling my way through a few games on my own.

I wish old CCGs would get released on iOS. Would love the Judge Dredd CCG to make an appearance...

Dedicated apps were too boring for me, I stopped using them, but the story and collection elements to that make it a bit more interesting. If you think you might be interested, I'd say it's worth a shot for that price, given you have a good running path to use it in and don't mind not getting every little detail from a run. It does only work with iTunes playlists though, so if you use a radio app or spotify etc, it won't work. Plenty of people stack the apps from what I read, so I guess it depends on how long you run - and your access to a usb cable to charge... I don't even get a 2-3% drop from using it alone, I'd imagine you'd have to run for like 10 hours to drain your battery with two apps stacked.

Yeah, same here, and a lot of those games that have gone on sale I ended up passing on were by Gameloft. Their games are typically quite huge. I'm using one of the older 8GB 3GS phones, so I'm constantly shuffling for space. The only games that are permanent are my Cave games.

You can always delete and redownload, so I don't see the point.

The point for me is, if it's a game I really like, I don't want to lose my save. I have used the iExplorer program, but it's a hassle, not to mention not something you probably want to use if a game has been updated since you last backed up your save. If you're referring to simply downloading the game on sale and quickly deleting it before starting, yeah, that's always a workable option, but it is pretty easy to forget you even bought it.

As an aside, jeez, this weekend is becoming a flood. My AppShopper wishlist is updating me constantly to new freebies and sales. I can't keep up. Very thankful. Lots of cool stuff to toy around with.
