Has anybody considered the possibility that you have to power your AA's with energy pickups around the map? Much like adrenaline in the UT games? I think I might like AA's if they do it that way...........

I suggested something like this a while back, but yeah it sounds like a fantastic idea. Do I think it is what we will see happen? Probably not, but I still think it would work really well if they went this route.

Basically, choose your mid-range weapon, choose your short-range weapon.

Yup, I doubt ADS is in the game. That said, we haven't seen a single bit of guns being zoomed in which makes me wonder if the zoom screen has a had a bit of a makeover.

I got my GI copy. I wish GI covered more campaign aspects and the creative process as well as introducing some of the talent at 343 that talked about their background and design philosophy.

The story hasn't officially released so it's possible it will happen but it would of been a good idea to have a media reveal from 343 themselves that properly demonstrates their multiplayer direction.

Damn, I haven't got mine yet.. I checked some Gamestops on my way back from class with no luck either. Any details in the pictures that you can make out more clearly?

I may have my reservations about Halo 4, but I'm 100% sure there won't be ADS.
It wouldn't even make sense. Save for a handful of weapons, the entire Halo sandbox doesn't have anything that resembles sights.

And I can empathize with making it's use map-specific so as not to break anything. But every time I hit that button and go a-jetpackin' it makes me smile. Its the armor ability equivalent of Grunt Birthday Party for me, and the only way you'll take my jetpack away is when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

That or 343 decides to get rid of it. Either one of those ;P

Many many stories from the Halo community, one of his more recent decisions was "teaming with" Boss Nasti for a few months. He has premium quality skill just not the best for finding teams, he has no excuse for not winning a event. He's teamed with the best.

I'm excited for the new Counter Strike on xbox. Seems exactly like the no-bullshit type competitive shooter noone wants to make for console anymore.

I would be but I don't think I've ever played an xbla shooter with a netcode even approaching playable.

The campaign looks like it'll be amazing. The terminals in CEA were very well done, so you can imagine how great the visual storytelling's going to be, especially with some of the 343 members previous pedigree.

This is the first time I've ever been more hyped for campaign than multi; subject to change of course, but instant respawns and camo loadouts have deadened my hype for the multi a little. Though if I watch the BR gif the hype reignites. I'm so confused!

Halo 3 is smooth as butter on LAN. I remember this, Elamite straight up hid on respawn to prevent the killtrocity; he knew if he even looked at Naded he would've been blained.
