It should show you how much credit you have at the bottom of the app store or in the app store settings or something.

Urgh... why doesn't Ubisoft port Clash of Heroes to iPad? Loved it on XBL but never finished it because I have too many games. Would be a perfect fit.
Heh, I was actually just thinking this exact same thing like 5 days ago. I loved the demo on PSN but I just don't game in front of my TV as much as I used to. Game would be perfect on the iPad.

Just wanted to throw out a recommendation for Let's Golf 3, tho it's old so I'm sure most of you have tried it. It's nothing super awesome, but it's free and has a TON of content, and it works fairly well. Makes me want a better Hot Shots clone on the iPad badly.

What is EA's Tiger Woods like?

I've been waiting for this to go on sale for a log time, I heard the controls were rough in this game, that true?

Future update perhaps?

I'm playing it right now, ten hours in and very close to the end I think. The controls are just fine. They are weird, and are similar to what I've played of Lost Winds, in that you're constantly moving both hands around the screen. As long as you've got the iPad resting somethere comfortably like a desk or your lap it's very playable. Sometimes you feel a little bit like Tom Cruise in Minority report (minus the Kinect obvs), you do some very odd hand movements.

It's a really well designed little game though, it just pulls you along, and I've only had to resort to a wiki once (and that was a total durrrr moment for me too).

Much much better than Helium Boy but I'm still not very rich

It's sold a bit over 5000 copies (across both platforms) in one and a half week, which is pretty nice, but I have no idea how long it can uphold this pace and where it will stabilize. It's just left the New&Noteworthy list on iOS so I'm not sure what will happen now.

Hopefully the TA review should give you a bump ... quite positive !

Just noticed that Infinity Blade 2's MyMob uses both your Facebook friends and Game Center friends. Makes it requiring Facebook make a little more sense in terms of exploding the amount of mob members you can have, admittedly it should just be an option though. They've also adjusted the ClashMobs requirements so that you can actually win them now.

Yeah, I was just not sure if I even entered the thing or not, or if I just used it all up already. Turns out I had just used it all up, my iTunes emails had 'store credit' listed as the billed too.

Actually, you're probably right. I really can't remember, not that it matters.

Right. Thanks for the heads up though.

On a different note, that Lost Winds update improved the game quite a bit. The digital d-pad works well, and I'm glad I can finally get around to playing more of it. I love the atmosphere and music a whole lot. Plus it looks great.

I tried 4 times last night and gave up...it was a bit tough.
I only cursed the scarecrow too so he's the only one I have to get through first but having to watch a cut scene and then fighting the boss in multiple stages where there's no save between each is frustrating

jukebeat/jubeat plus is the only music game on the platform that keeps bringing me back for more. Cytus is cool and all but I have no motivation to play it until the promised judgement timing overhaul whenever they finish v2.0. Game is stupid easy as it is now.

wow, that was very positive. some of these reviews are really inflating my ego

If you haven't/don't already, you should set aside some time to devote to PR/marketing the game. Considering it's quality, it needs a higher profile. Stick it under the noses of gaming writers on twitter and draft an official press release for gaming websites etc. Make sure you throw in free codes for the writers/sites.

Would really love to see you achieve greater success for the game.

Purchased on the strength of that review, totally love it so far. On the i-cade it is just sublime, tricky but controls beautifully. Love the music, the whole look of the game...it feels like uncovering some kind of hidden arcade gem when playing with the i-Cade, would happily play other games with the same look, or bring on a sequel!

Gonna finally play Lost Winds now that the controls seem like they got some major attention. I loved the game on Wii but as with everything on Wii I lost interest incredibly fast.

Edit: Wait, I thought I bought this before? Fuck, and I missed the pricedrop? That's not how you do things. :|

Price drop -> Update -> Price increase seems like an odd practice. Guess they want the new iPad crowd to pay full price.

Mass Effect Infiltrator got a lot of hate when it was released due to it's poor controls, but now that they are fixed I hope people give it a fair shake. It makes no excuses for the fact it's a very straightforward shooter, but it sure is fun.

One of the things I like is that the game encourages you to use all the weapons, since killing enemies in a row using the same weapon hurts the style points (which gives you credits). Same with biotics. Graphics are great too.

Also, the new turian character looks pretty cool. I think it was a missed opportunity not to use him in the campaign in the first place. I hope they keep making these bonus missions with other characters.

I have always felt that it plays better on iPhone than it does on iPad, because you don't have to go as far to touch your targets. Still haven't tried out the new controls, but it sounds like it might make things a bit easier on the iPad.

Been playing the hell out of. Bug princess. Trying to work my way to the top of the gaf leader boards. Has anyone 1cc the game? It's such a great game, I never knew I liked shumps the way I do, I even want to look into getting a cabinet, seen some guys on the pickup thread sporting some cave cabinets.

I know dash is into the cave games, just wondering who else in here is playing the cave shumps? It would be great to discus the games with some of you guys, I wonder if we could make a iOS cave OT. Damn it's so addicting my battery on my phone is always dead lol.

Have only played in pretty short bursts thus far but I'm really digging it! Best shooter of this type I've played thus far gameplay-wise. I prefer playing it without the new manual aiming option even, the tap-to-target works fast and it feels pretty bad-ass being able to juggle it so smoothly with biotic abilities and weapon switching. Dead Space felt a bit more polished but Infiltrator really brings the needed clever gameplay and controls imo. What would really kick-ass is a game that looks as good and runs as smoothly as Shadowgun + has Infiltrator's gameplay.

My dad made a game by himself using the GameSalad engine, it's probably not GAF's cup of tea but maybe some of you will be interested.

Also wrote a blog post on how it was made if any of you are looking to get into iOS development without any real programming knowledge:

Thanks guys.

As a dev who just went through his first game last year, I really enjoyed this blog piece. Almost brought a tear to the eye... It's so much work... Like u said day and night 7 days a week... Plus i had a full time job... And a big risk to take...spending such a long time making a game... There's immense satisfaction designing, creating the experience. It's modern day art. Good luck to your dad.

What device?

You've probably already done it but reboot the device and load the game again. Loading takes a while, like a minute or two.

New iPad. I had rebooted once and still the same thing, but I just tried it again and it worked. Guess it took a double boot. Thanks.

Yeah I had a similar problem after updating IB2, rebooting the device solved it.
