Android gaming was hindered a long time by Google Market's app size cap (now not as much of a problem) and will continue to be hindered by the sheer number of devices devs on the platform are forced to support. There are a few gems out there but the lion's share of devs are probably sticking to iOS.
Which sucks, because I love my Android phone. I personally opted to just get an iPad for gaming and as a light laptop replacement. I don't bother phone gaming at all at this point.

Having too many threads to check can get a little annoying although I wouldn't mind them just changing the thread title for the existing psn/xbl code to include ios.
People should be able to post things where they want to. For example no one complains when people cross post codes in the free to a good home thread. If its inappropriate the mods can do their magic.
How is infection actually related to 7th guest. Is it just a puzzle game that takes on its name or are there actually story elements? Nevermind I RTFMed

Not me. I rather give a code to someone who frequents this thread. They atleast appreciate iOS gaming. We're giving codes to people who aren't looking for it, but would enjoy it more than a random guy with an iPhone who saw a free code laying about. At least that's how I see it. No argument intended.

Naw I actually totally agree with you. People should be able to post codes wherever they want and direct them at the threads they are most frequently interacting with.
I was just saying if a mod were to get involved and set some kind of mandate about no mor posting codes I"d rather it be part of the existing dlc code thread instead of an entirely new code thread which would mean I'd have three different freebie related threads to follow.

Ahhhh. Yes. If its mandated, then having us join the rest of the code crew would be the best way.
On topic(i guess): Anyone playing junk jack? I never see the game getting mentioned here, not even after the huge update. I love this thing. More the crafting than anything else.

The only thing stopped me from buying was I was unsure if it had to run at 2x on iPad and therefore look all crappish.
I thought the trailer looked pretty awesome.
I asked earlier in the thread, but no one answered. Is there any kind of endgame or enemy bosses in this game? Or is it all sandbox?

100% sandbox. Only thing to 'reach' is a comPlete catalog of pages, items and relics.
Also I just bought galaxy on fire 2 hd. For $5 and all the hype, I'm expecting this game to distract the shit out of me at work tomorrow.

No, I'm fairly certain it just goes on and on. It's basically a 2D Minecraft, though a much more successful execution of that type of game on iOS, if you ask me. There's plenty of shit to do, but no end game. It's a black hole for your time.
I say we just stop the giveaways of codes from FreeAppDaily. If you don't need the game, don't redeem it... People can get the game themselves from that app/site.

Someone mentioned it earlier, but what are people's thoughts on Underworlds? Is it playable on iPhone, or is it significantly better on iPad? I'm curious about the replay value, too. I loved DH1 and 2, but there wasn't much to do after beating it...A similar hack and slash that ISN'T shit like DH3 would be nice!
I've never had anyone message me asking for codes. I had figured that people probably worked out that we always give them away if we have enough, but I don't know if Mario gets hit up for them or not. He posts more than I do.
Also, I'm open to receiving PMs if people want to send them to me. One-on-one is how I get a lot of our most useful feedback.

Ok, that makes sense. Guess I have 2 more questions (sorry for being a noob, I'm just checking it out compared to appshopper). 1. Lots of the web site still seems to be in German, even though I'm set for the US version. Is that normal? 2. I see AppZapp and AppZappPush in the app store, both free. Any reason to use one over the other?

Yeah, one of the better runners on the Appstore.
Yeah, the website has a lot of the text in German ... afaik there's no way to get rid of that.
As far as the app, Ive only used the HD version for iPad.
From what I can tell of the other two, one (plain) has push as IAP for 99 cents and the other (Push) has push service free. But, like I said I've not used either of those two.

Sounds good to me.
We've got three things going on in this thread:
1) "Hey guys, 'random game X' went on sale," "Hey guys, I really like 'random game Y' a lot," and "Hey guys, has anyone played 'random game Z?" (so pretty much iOS game conversations)
2) "Hey guys, here's a code for 'random game A!" and quotes trying to get the code (which people like to pretend this one prevents Example 1 from occurring).
3) "NO MOAR CODES!!! STOP IT!"
I know which ones I would rather see ITT. But then people might disagree with the people in the "Complaining About Codes" thread and disrupt the flow of conversation. So we will also need a "Complaining About The Code Complainers" thread.

To use quote to reveal, use the EMAIL TAG putting the code after = and before the closing bracket ]

I hope I don't come off as a dick or someone protective of "his" thread because it's not like that, I'm a firm believer than anyone can make an OP and he's easily replaceable, hell you could make an empty op with just a title and still get the best thread ever and that is evidence enough that OPs don't matter, they're just a side dish: there's no fuckin ownership of a thread since the people posting in it are the ones who make or break it, basically the community owns a thread under the direction of the admins/mods.
