The main advantage of the Crusader is definitely range and accuracy. A claymore will probably out-damage it at point blank ranges but it's still satisfying having a shotgun that works well on the bridge on Firebase Dagger and up close on Glacier.

I think the game is telling me to try the Arc Pistol and give up on the Carnifex.

A maxed out Arx Pistol weighs only slightly more than Carnifex, yet matches it in damage. I use it as on my engineer, fully charged head-shots with it kill most cannon-fodder on gold in a single shot.
A fully charged shot from an Arc Pistol X does more damage than a Black Widow I.
Still not a fan, though.

Jesus, fuck that uploading intel point in Hydra just below the base, right next to where every bad guy spawns. I had three Geth Prime just appear out of nowhere and demolish my gold run on wave 10.
Eh... i just got that too. That and a Geth Plasma Shotgun VIII.
Its ridiculous how i have these weapons at such rank, yet my Widow & Carnifex are still at I.
Not to mention... still...no...damn...Geths.

Just got Carnifex X! I also got a Javelin III, but still no Black Widow. Annoying! Luckily Claymore X on Geth Infiltrator lets me carry even mediocre pub groups through gold. Managed to drag two Krogans and a Turian soldier through a gold cerberus round, scored 131k, second place was 56k. Love that class/gun combo.

How is the Widow good again?
Aside from a tiny bit more damage and a some piercing it is in no way better than the Mantis. You're going to have to run the extra ammo mod anyway so lets give the Mantis AP. The Widow has a smidge more damage and weighs twice as much.

But once the Widow starts getting leveled up... it's a pretty stout one-hitter. Mantis stops competing with it pretty quickly too. The weight advantage is nice though.
I picked up both the packs yesterday already

Is there a list of weapon stats at each level?
I was under the impression that levels gave you a weight reduction and some bullets but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Okay, once I got that GPS X (my last gold to go to X) I'll respect my Geth Infiltrator for this proxy mine + Claymore/GPS madness
I'm sure there is a google doc list somewhere...
But weapon levels affect ammo capacity, weight, and damage.
It's how I skip through the meadows with Dethfiltrator. Claymore X makes all the bad people go away.
Still no commendation pack for me either and I did a few extracted gold missions.

Got the N7 Black Widow. How is it?
Go to EA live chat and tell them you participated and completed the objective, have feedback turned on but still didn't get it. They'll add it to your account.
The Black Widow isnt a N7 weapon though, its just an ultra rare. I like it, its a little less powerful than a regular Widow I, but it got 3 shots clip, meaning if you miss the first shot you're not forced to reload everytime.

As in, the black widow? Its awesome. I use it with my infiltrator and geth plasma smg (almost weightless) as a pair. Best sniper rifle in the game. Damn rare too.
I am honestly surprised they haven't fixed it so you stop getting character cards after maxing out the appearance options.
Ugh, that's exactly what I got, sucks.

The only concrete "problem" I see with doing so is that there would be a definitive, finite number of rares available, with the exception of power reset cards which are capped at 3 at a time. They could solve this by adding rare equipment cards, of course. The darker reality though is that their spacebucks for packs model incentivizes their leaving useless garbage in the pool to get people to keep spending. Of course, as paper thin as the multiplayer is, that can't add all that much to the lifespan of the experience.
I mean, that's what you're supposed to get from one of those.

Yes, but its still an ultra rare like it says in the same screen, even if it shows N7 flag. The real N7 weapons are ones coming from the commendation packs of special weekend events.

I recieve two messages on PS3 from people in my lobby asking me to do the credits glitch.

How did you contact them? I still haven't got mine. Did you email or call or some form online? What did you say?
The glitch is basically manipulating host migration and redoing Wave 10 on Gold to get the credits. I'm not going to say how to do it because you can google search that. That's most likely the reason why they decreased the credit reward for Wave 10 by 10%, still not going to stop people from glitching. As for how illegal it is? I heard people would get a three day ban for it; with a perma-ban if you do it again. Others have been doing it still and nothing happened to them.
Some numbers I pulled out of my rear: You can do the Indoctrination Devices on Wave 10 in a "few minutes". So you get like 38K per "few minutes". In the time you do one WGG, you get about 100K credit more from glitching.

Interesting okay.
I forgot how seizure inducing the striker can be, especially with Hunter mode on. The screen is constantly flashing everytime I fire the striker.
But on a more practical side, I immediately missed the stun effect from the Falcon that the Striker seem to lack. Stun effect + Cryo ammo made it a supreme crowd control weapon.
The Revenant X was a surprise though. I might have to re-visit the Revenanturian soldier again.

Now? Yes. Before? No. Bioware got cheap on us with the Victory Packs during the last few drops. I think they used to be equivalent to Veteran packs, now they're just an equipment pack.
