anyone know why the vita web browser is not HTML5/youtube compatible? seem like a glaring omission and would've been something you expect to be ready at launch

any news of it being updated anytime soon?

Guys so I'm not feeling the Vita :(

Not sure if its my age/life or what but it just doesn't seem like its calling my attention. Yes next month a bunch of nice games are coming and E3 but still...I'm like meh. I Dayz on the other hand....wish Vita had a game like that you know? I can't play Dayz because I don't got a nice rig so I'm in a limbo of sorts. Really thinking of selling it.

Hell even my PS3 is getting no love. I guess its because of a wedding I have to attend and another major event soon so I can't game much but I feel mostly bad for Vita since I really wanted to like it but I just can't! Hopefully things turn around else I may sell it. Sorry for off topic rant.

So I totally caved in and bought a Vita, 4GB card, and Uncharted from a friend for $150.

Downloading P3P as we speak (can't believe I'm QUADRUPLE dipping on Persona 3, but hey). I don't really see any must-haves for me until P4G comes out in October, but I'm happy to be a part of the party. :)

Once they add psone classic compatibility to the vita I might actually start to use mine, I can finally sell off the old model too. Wonder if square will announce type 0 for english release at E3...

You're at a time in your life where gaming as a hobby no longer fits within your day-to-day life, the same for goes for me but in reverse.

I barely have any desire to sit down and play a console, but I am usually interested in playing "console-like" games in bed from time to time.

oh yeah, kinda interested in those (well just a bit curious about soul sacrifice for now). Now that I think about it, my portable games library for the most part is just mario games and jrpgs.

I guess I'm sorta interested in P4... but I already beaten that before :/

I'm actually looking forward to Lego Batman 2 on Vita. If its a pretty exact port of the console version (which really, it should be) it's one of those console games i'd rather play on a portable. Plus being $10 cheaper with nice preorder bonuses also helps.

I always order 4 (for XL, 3DS, Vita).
Like you, I screw up the first one (the extra ones are in case I want to change the protector in the future).

It's pretty damn hard to mess up hori screen protectors.

just make sure to do it in the bathroom after leaving hot water on for a while for dust free environment.

the only thing to beware of is that dust or w/e can get stuck under the tape on the top or bottom or w/e. but removing that stuff is a cinch.

Use a piece of scotch tape to lift the screen protector. Use another piece of tape to lightly jab at the dust or w/e is underneath.

It really isn't that hard. Just be persistent ;P

Just applied it. Not a single bubble or dust particle. YAY! Now I can play it without worries!

They are pretty easy to mess up because the instructions aren't always clear. That's why you always need [at least] 2 :p
No bathroom with hot water necessary, just a good cleaning cloth that won't leave any particles behind and some compressed air.

Anybody else have a problem with some websites plain not working ob vita? I tried to go to bestbuy.com and it loads for a second and then stops alltogether =/. Ign is also another site.

Wtf is this shit - now i cant access the online manual through my vitas browser. Any suggestions guys?

Like I said, I just did it (after watching the video) using only the cloth and the air :p
It definitely helps when you have a few extra protectors in case you mess up, because it takes "pressure" off ;)

It upsets me greatly but I'm still buying the Vita version. portable lego batman is too good to resist. I'll get the PC version to play around with the open world stuff, but I'll probably end up playing the Vita version more.

Yeah so uh my barely used ps vita had a problem the touch screen as I posted 2 days ago when noticed it while typing on the keyboard. It went away when i tried charging it and puting it to sleep mode but it keeps happening so I think I have to exchange it. I still have my receipt from gamestop so will gamestop exchange it? (bought it in march) If not then how does the sony warranty works? Do I need to pay for the shipping? Thanks!

Does it persist after you hard reset it? If it does happen, first call up gamestop to see if they would exchange it. if they won't go to the playstation support site and call them up. Those folks seem nice enough.

Not a bad idea to hold on to a spare. I'll add it to my wish list on amazon so I can monitor any price changes.

Did you open the browser through twitter? That's the main way to get the browser open while also keeping bigger games in memory, causing the browser to run into memory issues. Though that said, usually it gracefully mentions that it needs more memory and even suggests you to close the game that's running.

Finding myself less and less interested in my Vita. The only thing I play on it currently is MLB 12 and that experience is less than ideal with the load times. It's really tempting to pick up a used DS Lite and enjoy some Advance Wars, FFTA2, something with hand-drawn art and almost no load times.

Downloaded the Uncharted demo last night.
What a weird looking pixelated fire :p
I got to the river in chapter 4 and then the level restarted itself right from the beginning, no warnings or anything. Is that normal?

Are the controls supposedly to be this loose when moving Nathan? (I have U1&2 but haven't had a chance to play them yet).
